Sure, its supposed to be the same ICs, but why is it binned lower then? I haven't saw any TCC5 that would run at DDR 600 @ 2.5-3-3, there has to be a reason for that. Getting what is guaranteed is not enough for most, I know I want the tightest timings and highest clocks possible. If TCCD gets me 2 more Mhz, its worth it IMO.
Look at the price of old school BH-5, it sells for $200+ as if it just came out. That’s because people care what kind of chips it has even though a $100 set of UTT may obtain similar clocks.
