As i've said before, my BH5 runs much better in orange slots than in yellow ones.

I've just flashed the 510-3Fixed and it is working better than any previous bios (tryied 310,310-p,510-2and3, 615,618-2 and 3) it is doing 237 1'5-2-2 at 3.04v while with any previous one i needed 3'17v for that. CPU seems to need a little lower voltage to run at same frequency. Now trying 240x10 1:1 1'26v air cooled.

Edit: I was using SP2004 but seem that superpi fails :( (usually i can pass superpi and not sp2004, that's weird :S)

Seems that I needed some vcore. By now it has passed spi 16MB at 240 1'5-2-2 3'04vdimm so i have gained 1Mhz with -0'1V :p

I can now change Dram response time and it boots.
Ealier bios it just rebooted.

I think its time for a BIOS FAQ once and for all.. Definitions of Yellow and Orange Slots and Which -#'s go to what ram. Each day i read something different! LOL

Awaiting for the DFI UT RX200 Blah Blah board to surface.

"different" means the one I post 510 fix, is totally different from master WWM 's post 623bios

Ok, and which 510 fix version would you recommend for running on the G.Skill 1GBGH UTT-BH modules? 510Fix-2? or 510Fix-1?

I'd just flashed the 510-2Fix but it's now reporting the date at 6/23/05....so these 510fix version have the same date as those that winewitme posted? :confused:

Yes they have the same date but their not suppost to be the same BIOS versions.

What did you have Dram Response set to when it used to reboot? For me normal and Fast work fine in 510-2 however Fastest causes my boot to hang right when it would have said verfiying dmi pool data. Instead of showing that however the system just reboots. Is this what you were mentioning and can you now choose fastest and have it boot normally? Is the system still stable overall and has any performance increase been seen with this new value?

just flashed to this 510-3 bios. And all of a sudden i cant seem to use Clockgen i windows? everything above 230fsb makes it freeze but in bios im ok to +300fsb!! kinda weird!

wow, i dont have any problems with that. I havnt had a single hiccup with mine :D

Do any of these bios allow for special ram voltage adjustment? I have some ch-5 at 3.2v and i want 3.3v. Is it possible to get 3.3v while on the 3.3v rail?

510-2fix doesn't like my rig, prime95 blend test crapped out in 43 min while the 618-2 let me passed 58.5 HOURS in blend test...same settings and everything!! Going to try the 623-2 and see what's up.... :stick:

I experienced the same with my OCZ Rev.2 TCCD with the 6/15 bios and Fastest setting and have to move down to Fast to get it to boot properly. I then flashed to 6/18-2 and I can now use the Fastest setting without issue :)

(note: I've not tried 6/23-x yet)
