Anyone using 4x512mb UTT please help with settings

Now I got your point. But isn't the performance leveled by the worst module/slot combination? That is, a combination of the slowest module with the strong slot should give worse results compared to a combination of the slowest module with the stringest slot. In the first case the overclock should be limited to a lower level.

Maybe the strongest slot for UTT is the first yellow slot despite being further away from the cpu than the orange one, since yellow slots are suited for high voltage ram. Have you tried placing the fast module on the yellow slot and the fastest in the orange slot further away from cpu?

Well the weak/strong Dimm system works ! :toast:

Using my G.Skill LE that tops out at 312, and my G.Skill LA that tops out at 320. I used the system that ben described. I didn't test my sticks individually but I had a head start on where to stick them, only had to play musical chairs with them twice before I hit the sweet spot ! lol

Got them running at 290mhz 2.5-4-3-6-2t ;)

I've given up on using the G.Skill UTT in my server, going to use it in my gaming rig once I get my Vapo LS next week.

Glad it works for you too!! And trust me on this...if you want the highest stability&memclock, you MUST test each stick individually and put them in those dimm slots accordingly ;) :D

I had already tried all the possible combination placement.....try them out yourself and switch them around, you'll see what I mean ;)
