Why are people worried about this? If you plan to use a phase change unit (Chilly1 comes to mind) then maybe there might be an issue.Quote:

What hsf overhangs (level) with the mounting bracket? Wire mamagement is no problem for us artists. :D And yes, as I stated:

I am not worried about this (I have not to buy this DFI :p: :D) ... just a doubt ... :)
That's cool... :D Glad to see lots of peeps here ready to help everyone out. ;)Quote:

You can park a car in there!
Anyone with with more than 6 SATA drives should also already have little to no concern for a tidy looking case. The lame part is when we find out if those are only ports are only 2 that stay locked at high FSB.
geeze this board sux
ram again too close to CPU...wtf those SATA doing under CPU ?
OMG
Why are the dimm slots too close? Do you mean as far as XP-90/120 over hang? I know... I don't like to have the hsf to over hang the dimm... much prefer an independent fan to blow on my UTT. And I've read the XP-90/120's perform better when the heatpipes are on the top side. The AGP slot looks mighty close though...
I'm willing to bet the SATA is there for locked FSB stability.
You think the XP-90/90c/120 will fit on the DFI board?Quote:

EDIT: I should say, my prefered way of installation. Thermalright says there's no correct orientation, use whichever way works best with your particular system.
I goofed... :slapass:Quote:

So, the more I look at it, the less I like the board's layout now.
As long as I can use a XP-90C, I am happy.
Just ordered mine from ncix, let's see how this board does.
wish 754 bios had "current clock" in it, sometimes i forget when i'm in there
Where can we get this board in the US?
That is the strangest location for SATA ports I have ever seen.
DIMMs seem to be way too close too.
Dang whats up with that chipset fan? Looks like they ditched the Karajan audio too.
Yep.....the board is way different then the preview pics....that chipset HS/F is funny :D I would rather have an NF4 HS though :( ;)Quote:

hum ... strange ... the new 1.95bios for neo2 have the same interface ... "Award Worstation" .. the timings are on center of screen, we can see numbers of cpus too ...
Oh wow those SATA ports are REALLY close arent they. Odd. But arent their SATA connectors that are L shaped, so they would clear the HSF?
And its also 20-pin. I guess thats standard on all AGP boards?
This seems like it wouldn't be a production model doesnt it? Its also missing the famous dual LAN ports!
First thing I looked for in the pics was the 4v jumper.Quote:

EDIT: I was looking for the 4v dimm jumper in the wrong spot, but still can't see it...
Atacom.com has it.Quote:

But someone over @ DFI Street said atacom.com won't have any until Monday.
EDIT: mwave has some in stock as of this edit http://www.mwave.com/mwave/viewspec....iteria=BA30085
Overclocking stopped....
My worst fear turned out to be true....my FX-55's memorycontroller is really gone....230Mhz and not a Mhz more....the same as on the Neo2....I tested it over and over on the Neo2, but I guess I just need to give up.....
Market will have another 2nd hand FX-55 along with an Neo2
Will get a Venice next week to see if it is true...but I'm almost positive...
Sorry guys.....
