Awesome OC man! Glad to be here!
Excellent. :toast:
hmm... hope to get an auihb xp soon, too =)
Nice OC
Seems to be a great chip.
What about on die-temps at that oc?
Sweet fuggin ride ya got there QD.................:D
i don't know since this bios can't handle below 0 temps. socket temps were @ 6C, but again i'm not sure how accurate it is. At 2.325V and 3.07Ghz it will post, but freeze right after post screen.
That bios problem is a known issue
But if you download the latest MotherboardMonitor and select
PL90 local and remote (something like that) sensors as readout you have accurate temps of ON die and back of socket, with negative on-die readout ;)
Yep...my A7N8X is in RMA for the same problem:(Quote:

Anyway, can you post some super pi benches on that great overclock you have there Quad?
MBM is currently not compatible with the NF2 mobos. They are working on it though:)Quote:

ASUS needs a BIOS fix to cure the "freeze up" in the Systems Health screen when temps are below 0.
I tought he was using the (great) KD7 instead of a Nforce2 mobo
Then using MBM gives a negative readout (It does on my KD7)
Depends on the mainboard. 8rda+ is compatible.Quote:

indeed, i did use KD7 mobp. nForce2 thing is diffrent story.Quote:

yeah, it should do Pi easily. i bet this cpu can go higher, but i think Prometeia would have to be modded in order to achieve even lower temps. anyone here tried better compressor?
3 GHz AMD. That's scary!
Hey Quad, hit 20k already! :)
QuadDamage,
Very nice chip & amazing OC! :)
QuadDamage,
You probably only need to regas the prommie. The compresser is more than powerful enough. R134a is a crappy refridgerant.
Might wanna try a new refrigerant instead, if you can :)Quote:

man thats alot of money i wash i had, would do the same thing! Super-badass overclock there...im just still hoping to get my 1800+ to 2000 MHZ...It pisses people off that a 70$ cpu can do 2000 mhz, but yours would just piss people off 10 fold..Your making me think about skipping the whole liquid stage and going right to a promethia, how much is a promethia these days?
About $600. Hardware Gods has them I believe.Quote:

Hmm when someone gets one of these from newegg lemme know and it's time for processor frying.
Haha, got myself a Tbred 2400+ AIUHB week 47 yesterday.
lucky you:toast: please post your results when you're ready.
which one? any suggestions?Quote:

where i can buy this stuff? Do HVAC engineers have access to it? i guess it's pretty harmful though:) safe to use in room? should i expect nice boost after replacing gas with freon?
hi, cobase m8! keep us posted about your AIUHB here! ;)
That's a great overclock m8. With the Prom and the newer stepping T-Bred.
Seeing all these results I'm actually looking forward to my Prom. Having to wait until after the holiday break will be a pain.
