I'm guessing that 9xxx score is with a single card, so if he gets to play with both, 12000 is pritty bad, I mean this isn't stoc cooling he's playing with. With 6800's you can get 14000, he's got atleast one 520 i bet if not 2, so if he doesn't score higher then teh 6800's ATI has some work to do.

at this stage, I think that >12.5k with released drivers is pushing it, maybe 14k with "beta" ;) drivers.

We talking about next gen R520's or the current gen? Current x850's it won't reach 16, 13 or 14 is doable IMHO tonight. Remember ATI has had "crossfire" technology for a while, and i'm sure its near if not on par with SLI.

Honestly though, do you really think those are insane clocks? ;) I wasn't impressed, neither was Macci. To quote Macci, "that's just the start". I say, "that's what we run to keep the card warm enough to prevent condensation"

Not quite. Here are the weapons of choice. Let me tell you, we've both never seen a cascade work this well. Perfect temperature balance, automatic load balancing as well. Temps never fluctuate more than a couple degrees no matter what the loads are. Excellent piece of machinery.

i'm hoping for 1000 gpu, but by the evenness of the 850/702mhz...i see around 900/720 maybe 750.... :slobber:

i know 10k by a single card is possible...Macci can do it, but that would mean one killer Crossfire score...and the 850w psu seals the deal for me. C'mon, let me upgrade!
