Hey Ryan,
Tell me EXACTLY how and if OCZ PC 3500EL will help me squeeze out 3-5 extra mhz fsb...
My current ram is Corsair XMS3200C2 256mb
I've got Jupiler's stick of the OCZ enhanced latency PC3500 here ... and i'm not impressed :(
It gets beaten by my trusty Corsair PC3500 on all fronts. In the IT7 MAX2 it managed to load windows at 230 MHz memory 2-5-2-2 2.9V. But 3Dmark crashed about as soon as it started. Without changing the settings we popped in the Corsair and it completed the whole bench without a hitch. 2-6-2-2 didnt work either @ 230 with the OCZ stick.
Its reached 250 MHz tight timings in that review ... I think its pure bollox. Maybe the sticks sent out for reviews are just a tad better than the ones getting sold. This one I have here wont even do 230 MHz at those timings.
236 MHz 2/7/2/3 enh is the highest I can run 3D on my rig (this is an older IT7) with this stick of OCZ. My Corsair managed 242+ (unable to test the limit because of CPU limitation). This is at 3.00 Vddr because at 2.9 it would also fail this.
I am afraid the sticks out there on the market are *slightly* less impressive than the ones used in that review. I can believe some weeks burn-in would help, but even straight from the production line the Corsair hit 238-240 with ease. This stick wont quite go there.
If it were my money, I'd shop at Corsair rather than OCZ, even though Corsair rate the 3500 with very slow timings ... its only the RESULTS which matter.

But: no god, wait for Corsair PC4000 comming up
I have had several sticks of OCZ memory that was purchased for my computer and for a few friends.
All were rated at Pc2400 which at the time was the best you could get. None of them i could get to do that with the timings that they stated it would do. Later on they all died in about a 6 month period. Since companies that i had purchased them from have now gone where i dont know. I ended up haveing to buy name brand stuff to replace the OCZ that failed me
