Marine or plumbers GOOP sealant will hold very well. GOOP has been used for sealing blocks for years & works quite well.
actually, u should just make a track in the copper and lucite for a rubber gasket, that will suffice. if you did all that work, I'm sure it's easy for u to do that. good looking block btw, the oxidized copper on the inside is kinda scary though.

yeesh, went from a glob of ugly copper on the bottom to a flat shiney pretty looking base......and to think I couldn't even make my SLK-900A look that shiney when it already started off decent lol
