Gooch,
Thanks for that...looking at it...I'm really not impressed w/ NF2's 3DMark scores yet(even taking into account the 50% mem)...I still might get one someday to play w/ ;)

Fun to play with until they get the bios working correctly for some synch action. There seems to be some bandwidth even for 64bit single channel action at 233MHz synch. Absolutely no 3D though! :p
Got 3D to go at 225MHz 4-2-2-2 synch. :D

Very nice:)
Any v-mod for the Epox yet?? mem and cpu
OPP
Nothing yet. Bone stock. :p
DaGooch: is that 211Mhz dcddr or not?
The highest DCDDR sync 3D mark stable I can get is 200Mhz. This is with 2*256mb corsair xms 3200 @ 7-2-2 CL2:
14886 with a ti4200 at 330/590
That's a huge leap from were I left with my 2.4B @ 3150Mhz, almost 1000 points more! :D
Not bad man . Here's my year old 8k3a+ board with §§§§ty ram timings 2623 2t at 297/600. No tweaks just slider set at best performance. I just don't see the NF2 as a good upgrade for me at this point. If I could get my core any higher, we would have pretty much the same numbers.

Believe me, 30mhz in core doesn't make a 1700 points difference, more like 300~400 points.
Single channel with 4-2-2-2 timing. I finally got the board to work in synch above 200MHz by taking off the 133/166 jumper on the board. Strange but true. :DQuote:

You took the jumper right off the board? What difference did it make for ya?Quote:

Thx.
Oh I believe you but my ram timings are much slower than yours also because of this $60 ram I have which also makes a difference. There is a speed increase of 500 3dmarks. Many people will like that an buy the board but I'm just holding out for more performance. It's a good comparison anyway of what speed benefits you will get from nforce 2 as far as games go. There is a slight difference but nothing to get excited about.Quote:

does all the onboard stuff like sound and raid work
@ 250 fsb?
btw, nice work :D :toast:
Well obviously it let him run sync over 200mhz ;) :pQuote:

Before I was able to only do 190MHz FSB in synch mode. Now doing up to ~ 217MHz.Quote:

Yes, but memory was at 50%.Quote:

Awesome, I'm gonna have to try that 1!!
Thx Gooch.:toast:
did you toy with any other ratio's than 50% @ 250 ?
I guess the PCI lock really does work....
looks like I'm going to have to dive in:banana:
I can't get dual ch ddr to finish 3dmark no matter what timings in the 180-200 range. In single it runs fine. this is with twinmos 3200 512x2. I wonder if any mem out there can get over 200 in dual on this board?
do you have your cpu setting to agressive or optimum to get this?Quote:

Optimal for now. Will try aggressive to see if it makes a difference.Quote:

Got some Kingston Hyper-X for single channel DDR action and system is stable with CPU setting set to agressive:

Just need 25MHz more on the memory! :D
Edit: Made it to page 3! Surrounded by P4 systems. :p

Very nice, Gooch! Go go go :)
i have 2x256mb twinmos pc3200 with twinmos chips and can run dual channel mode up to 213 mhz sync with 2422 timings.
so no fsb or dual channel problem for me here!!!
hmm getting my corsair 3500 cl2 and the 8rda soon - will post my results then :)
cya
what kind of cooling are u using on ur cpu dude?:confused:Quote:
