Hehe... No wonder :) PCMark04 gets 30-35% percent boost in FX-55/4800+ compare @ stock ;)Quote:

Did you try to play with voltages at lower temps ? There are some combinations that will work :slobber:
Or try hitting windows with the cascade off, start prime with a low priority, start the cascade and raise the clock, this should help a little if not 100%. After you've set the desired clock you fire up lets say super pi benchmark and close prime 95. With coldbugged cpu's you always want to see a lod :slobber:
Yes yotomeczek - my prescott, i made the score.
Yes i love you too hon :nono: :slap: :slapass:Quote:
I'm still waiting, cmon . Working harder on your photoshop then on your boyscout?
LMAO
opb you are using the pc ice cascade???? i think that is why that chip wont boot pretty insane cold temps you get with that monster cascade.

and an 838 too
i think he's using his TCCD not his BH-5.
By the looks of it he is. One of his good Gskill sets.
Great work on the 9:45:500 time OPB ;) It shows when you set your mind on something you get to it and do a good job.
I'm asking a test with his BH-5Quote:

Is this extreme enough? :(

Ouch, expensive melt down.
That image would make a good avatar for Intel fan.
That is just nothing that I have ever seen before!!!
$1k went down in flames :(
I'm sorry OPB :(
EDIT: Maybe I should re-evaluate an idea of putting 1.9v thru my Winchester for Prime95 runs :D
Ouuuuuuuuuuuuuuchhhh :brick:
How that happend ??
The 2 stages still on ??
Its alwyas bad to lose HW, but much worst to lose good HW ..sorry OPB :(
Well I am extreme and brave guy!!:D
I am honored by consecutive 3 MODs comfort me.:)
oh man. that's a beating! sorry OPB! :explode2: :(
maybe AMD and DFI will give you freebies just to continue showing who's the best in the CPU and MOBO combo worlds (arguably of course) :stick:
man,i cant look at this image.
Im really sorry,Kevin.
A champ died :(
How could this happened ? I see a big scratch next to the socket.Does it have to do with this ?
In respect for your loss, no OC today. Load bios safe settings/F10-yes/ reboot.
wow, sorry to see that. Try to RMA it, and say they arrived like that, just to see what they would do.
What happened to the top piece of the socket? Is it still stuck to the evap?
condensation? something definitly shorted out and took the full >100a that was going through the cpu, that's for sure
