Damn, All I need are 100 posts and we could do it here. We'll figure something out this weekend. :slobber: :slobber: :slobber:
Good choice ozzimark! I should have bought one of these and undervolted it.

i'm not sure how much it could be undervolted though.. it felt like i was hitting a mobo power/amperage limit at lower volts... cpu's shouldn't go from prime stable to BSOD with 12mhz :stick:
besides, your passive turion looks sweet
what cooling are you using and what temps are you seeing? nice results :)
Yeah even if this chip undervolts a little more than T64, because of Turion's power characteristics it's likely it will run cooler. I think, at least. :confused:
Definitely seems to be scaling well with voltage. From the results I've seen so far, Venice/San Diego will typically do another ~200MHz over their 1.4v max with more voltage, and then will just hit a wall.
Also be sure to run it through 24 hours of P95 when you think you've found the max stable clock, just to be completely sure it's stable.
Keep pushing it! ;)
Yea, you're right FF. I guess the Turion 64 should still have an edge at those levels. So does it look like you're going to want that 3400+?
not small fft stable (need to drop the htt 1mhz for that)
but it'll do in place and blend for enough time :toast:
also, 1.5v + 4%.. it randomly undervolted a bunch when i went to take the screen
went for a suicide at 1.55v... close to the magic number on air :toast:
workin on 1.6v stable now
amazing results, might be my next buy yay for keeping 754 alive and in the game :D
bad news, 1.6v doesn't help at all. FF, you called it ;)
now to find the max 1m stable at 1.65v, i doubt i can so sub 30s, but i sure can try :banana:
:slobber: Ozzimark
That chip would be great on water.
Mobile AMD Athlon™ 64 Processor Prices 3700+ through 3000+
Just curious, how are temps doing? What were they at default speed and voltage? :)
Nice results ozzi, good call on the chip, good work vandi :toast:
pretty low! haha, granted, i have a window open with cold ait flowing in. room temp is ~18-20c and load is about 32c at 2.82ghz and 1.5vQuote:

one thing that's really bother me though. do you guys ever get this error:
32c at 2.82GHz :slobber:
I guess CABSE doesn't mean that much.
Sorry, but now I'm totally confused. Then what does Ozzi have? A Lancaster? I really need to find a A64 mobile OPN chart... :wth:
i have a newark, which appears to be a san diego in 754 clothing
here's my max screen of the night. my apologies for not getting verification, but it's just not stable enough to do so :stick: :banana:
along with it are pictures of my cooling setup, and the idle temp at 2.7ghz, 1.45v in the bios
edit: added 3.1ghz. it crashed as it was saving, so i'll call that the XTREME edge of stability.. though it shows a nice number :toast:
So the Newark is a DTR? And the Lancaster is a "true mobile"? Sorry for my brain malfunction... going to bed now :wth:Quote:

i'd say newark just replaces the mobile clawhammers.
lancaster is what i would consider a new line of extra portable mobiles.
and thanks. i'm glad i got the chance to do this, hopefully there's a bit left.. maybe for a 3.2ghz shot. :toast:
I think I got it now.
OPN = model = name
TMSMT37BQX5LD = ML-37 = Lancaster
AMN3700BKX5BU = 3700+ DTR = Newark
AMD's prices
Newark
AMN3000BKX5BU $153
AMN3200BKX5BU $198
AMN3400BKX5BU $228
AMN3700BKX5BU $336
Mobile AMD Athlon™ 64 Processor
SSE3 90nm 1MBL2 1.35v
Being listed as 62W
i guess my question would be where to put this. technically it could be a san diego, thus go in that thread, but it's not, so... hmm :confused:
Wow I wonder what this chip would do under water!
Worse than on the air he's giving it. 5C air is pretty damn cold.Quote:

ozzimark - As mentioned in my last PM to you, you're doing an awesome job with that chip. Keep pushing those clocks, buddy.
