Xp90 here with an ACRyan UV 92mm fan 2500rpm and about 45CFM
ambient: 24ºC
idle at 950-1050rpm: 36ºC
load at 2650rpm: 46ºC
I'm considering lapping the XP90 base (so i'm considering to purchase a good lapping kit XDDDD ), but I'm scared to remove the "nickel plated" and get things worse.... but now seems that heatpipes don't get as warm as they should be... maybe a concave base?????

I got an XP-120 w/ ~100 cfm Sunon 120mm fan cooling a Venice @ 2.7 and 1.5V. Case has 2x120mm fans and case temps read around 25 C.
Idle: 28 C
Load:38 C
dave - more likely you're not running as hot as you think you are.
what should i keep ?
for now i have Zalman 7000b-alcu installed :
already bought TT BIG TYPHOON and now i saw some good deal on XP90 Retail.....which one to keep ?

I've been thinking of mounting a second fan, maybe 92mm one behind it with a shroud to see if performance is at its maximum yet.
