Yo men, I'll try to answer to all :D
But first, one thing: in my first post I've clearly said that is the first quick test, and in the weekend more test would been made, so I cant' understand why many of you have to post against this, if I have post in a wrong section of Xs a mod can move to the right when he wants, no problem.
Also post without say nothing like 'bleh' or 'My winny do more, so venice isn't for me' I think are useless for me and other :)
However I send a PVT to a mod for clarify the situation and put this 3d to the right section.
Now go with real answer ;)
Yo man!!Quote:

You're wrong with the second point: BH5 don't gain anything with relax the timings, but memory isn't a problem for gandalfone, his BH5 go clock really good.Quote:

BH5 isn't TCCD but I'm sure that you already know this.
Thanks HiJon89 for the nice word and for wait patient more test :toast:Quote:

You're right, ~3GHz shot for now @ air.Quote:

Thanks to all the other and sorry for the long post.
Gimmy 2 minutes that I've new screen for all, eh eh :D
Finally new test from gandalfone, here in Italy the weather is like summer, today ~20° :D
So you have to remeber this when looking the screen ;)
Again @air with zalman:
Vcore 1.4V 2800MHz spi
http://gandalfone.altervista.org/imm...ce2822_1.4.JPG
To take 2850MHz gandalfone has raise the vcore to 1.45V
http://gandalfone.altervista.org/imm...venice2860.JPG
Here CPU-Z show 1.45, but in bios gandalfone put 1.55V so the real vcore is 1.50V less or more ;)
http://gandalfone.altervista.org/imm...enice_2900.JPG
This is the max coz at air with this ambient temp if he raise the vcore he cant do anything better.
Now a nice SuperPI not really tweaked, he don't use A64Tweaker :D
http://gandalfone.altervista.org/imm...nice29_062.JPG
He run a PI also @ 2913 but he can't save the screen with 28s :(
And now from my request :D the max screen :woot:
http://gandalfone.altervista.org/imm...enice_3000.JPG
If you have any request for test or anything other please told me that I refer all to gandalfone and we try to do all :)
Well, I for one would like to see Gandalfone find where that .5 mhz went and run it again at 273 x11 to get to 3.0G ;)Quote:

I emailed to gandalfone, obviously for now I doubt that he can run@3000MHz or near...I haven't ever used this bench, how many digits he have to put?? I'll give you the result ASAP.Quote:

I'm curious to see the gain with watercooling....and with little more vcore....Luckily the next week Venice & San Diego arrive in italian shop
Look @ the location in Toki profile.... VENICE :woot:
so 2.9 on air?
cant wait........although I'll be in militray training till next January.......guess i'll have a large amount of cash saved :D
Mmm I don't completly agree with you and I tell why :)Quote:

He does a 3dMark2001 @ 2755MHz @ stock vcore and now for you (I'm just kidding mate ;)) a 16M @ 2805MHz @ 1.44V :)
http://gandalfone.altervista.org/imm...spi_16mega.JPG
Soon we could see a few result with liquid cooling, but with warm water :DQuote:

That's the kind of screenshot you guys should have included at the beginning, not only 1M runs :)Quote:

And here another lil news:
2938MHz @ liquid cooling; this liquid system include 2 wb for the 6800Ultra, so water is really hot :D
http://gandalfone.altervista.org/imm..._liquid_28.JPG
damn, i might just be converted over to amd in my next system...ive also read that when dual core is actually worth a crap, amds archetecture is way better than intels...so ill have a better upgrade path.
Tried any voltage unter stock so far (like 1.2V?)
Still nice CPU though :woot:
Mmm na, for now I don't think he tried :)
gratz...really amazing the venice :D
Looks like i have to buy a new system ^^
Nice overclocking there. I am getting my 3500 tuesday,
Well, gandalfone give me the result of test with water + ice, temp is near 4°C, obviosly not constant and CPU over 16°C, oh good result for we ;)
Here the best SuperPI @ 3057MHz
http://gandalfone.altervista.org/imm...od_27_3050.JPG
The temps (for what Smartguardian can say... :D )
http://gandalfone.altervista.org/imm...enice_temp.JPG
gandalfone see the temp raise and want to try a lil bit of stability and...wow!
http://gandalfone.altervista.org/imm...enice_3000.JPG
SuperPI 8M
http://gandalfone.altervista.org/imm..._spi8_3000.JPG
And also a 16M
http://gandalfone.altervista.org/imm...spi16_3000.JPG
To complete this beautiful session here a Pifast
http://gandalfone.altervista.org/imm...ast_venice.JPG
And a ecalc @ 3000MHz for ULJarad
http://gandalfone.altervista.org/imm...ecalc_3000.JPG
This is a suicide shot, gandalfone try from this to 3200MHz straight on :D and the system reboot :D however he think that more of 3110MHz in this condition, for suicide shot, is possible
http://gandalfone.altervista.org/immagini/3110.JPG
What to say now? Oh yes, with this funny temps we think that more and more will be possible with serious cooling, maybe tomorrow or monday ;)
Bye and thanks from gandalfone and me :toast:
Come on, let's see it with 2.1v pumping through it !
nice score's you have there;)
try it with dice^^
Oh Jort, master of DIce cointainer :D :toast:Quote:
