I want one. :D
How do you get one of these 50 sets? Are they going to be spread to shops over the world or does G.Skill simply send them to infamous overclockers?
Kakaroto I am an infamous overclocker I swear. Send me a pair asap. :buddies:
Can't wait to see your next article :)
I myself am venturing into that, sold my G.Skills and now it's time to get 4*512mb UTT :D
lololol :woot:Quote:

Sorry, one more post of mine...
Is that some sort of "industry-standard" now to test memory with SuperPi 1M, Sandra Benchmark and 5 minutes of memtest #5 ?
I'm not saying that this memory is not performing well, but have anyone ever think of running a bit more demanding benchmarks to show stability at stock speeds or at DDR600 7-3-3-2.5-1T as shown above?
To me it looks like it should be called "benchable" not "stable"...
I just don't get it now...
Kakaroto or OPB, can you guys explain it for me, please ?
Regards,
I've always found the best way to get a good indication of "real-world" stability is to loop 3Dmark03 and PCmark04 for a few hours...i know my system will crash / hang pretty quick using those apps if it's not completely stable!

So how about give you 40 passed test for 2.6v DDR600 2.5-3-3-6?:D

That looks better, Kevin :)
Did you maybe happen to read my first post in this thread? You probably know better than me that "errror-free" memtest run does not exactly guarantee "Windows stability" at same speed. Are you willing to show, how stable these sticks are in Windows enviroment?
Will it pass SPi 32M @ DDR600 7-3-3-2.5-1T ?

Umm...why do ppl say that when we all know the mem controller has to do with the chip and not the mobo :rolleyes:Quote:
Make sure you have a descent memorycontroller and motherboard.
(DFI NF4 series is recommended)

kakaroto or Onepagebook can you push them higher for us to see where they can go at 2,5-3-3-6 1T please ?
It should... 2.5,3,3,7 1T 300Mhz, with 9x multi with a Winnie gives 3199MB/s for memtest here.
Curious why the walltime was smudged out... should be less than 40 mins... closer to 30
Two comments... I've had runs with unstable settings where had 50+ T5 passes that end up showing errs before 100... and clean passes of T5 overnight that have errors every pass of T8. Not saying the FF would err, just that for a vendor show of stable mem, results to date come up a tad short :)

Because the MB does matter... Vmem & Vtt stability, trace routing, termination, noise.... so can the PS.
Peace :toast:
That's a much more convincing way to look at it imo, thx EMC.Quote:

As for the results, methinks them not liking high volts (~3.0V) might mean 330ish hard to get ???

strange with 2x 512MB Gskill PC4400LE @ 300HTT 180 divider 270mhz 2.5-3-3-6 1T i get 3199MB/s in memtest with 3200+ winnieQuote:

If have problems getting this memory stable @DDR620 2.5-3-3-6 1T @2.76v.Quote:

Think a stronger controller like FX-55 would make this speed stable.
Does it say 0:32:13 on the smudge picture ?
OK thanks ! :)Quote:

Let us know if you achieve to run them stable at that speed...
Ir would be really nice...
hmm, I got the following runs with my clawhammer 3500+ using 310p BIOS, but wasn't able to run stable under windows with them, is that because the processor is a clawhammer? also will venice/san deigo fix this problem?Quote:
