When you guys get a chance while testing that 3700+, can you run Prime95 Blend for even 2hrs? I'm just wondering how far down it will be needed to go to get that kind of stability? Will 2900MHz happen?
Like, I can do flip-flops in and slightly above 3GHz area with Winie but Prime95 stability stops @ 2.86GHz, two hours at least ;)
Thanks
1.55 is the highest vcore to have an increase with is 3700+Quote:

I know a guy who will have a 4000+ .09 tomorrow
but he'll test on brutal WC
but the 3700+ dont take 1.7vQuote:

Nice quick results. Looking forward to the comparison.
Dang! Nice results!
For sure , those results aren't revolutionnary, but don't forget they're better than the results given by a 1000$ chips.
This one will cost approximatively 350$, imagine what the FX57 will have to give to be the king :slobber:
This 3700+ could be any FX55 0.09 without any doubt.
Oh. I didn't know the voltage tolerance had changed so much from the Winchester core. :confused:Quote:

Very very nice. If the price is indeed around the $350 in DK, I think I know where my pay check is going. Goodbye Wacken Open Air!

I have an 0448SMPW , so funny : increasing vcore is useless (+0.1Max =30Mhz lol) in aircooling but 2720 Rock Prime 1.4v
bloody awesome... me wants 2 of these hehe :DQuote:

C
Time to pre-order myself a 3700+ :D :D :woot:
I thought the FX-57 share the same core as these San Diego no? if they are then I doubt the FX-57 would be that much(if any) better OC'er than the 3700 SD? But still...if 2.9 or 3.0 can be done on air then I still think it's mucho nice! infact, 700~800mhz gain is excellent! sure beat paying $1000 for the FX-57 :D
Nice work there misterroadster... thanks for sharing :toast:
Remember Charlie, thats only one 3700+ they might clocked worse or better who knows. We would just have to see.
Im tempted by the San Deigo's but it would only be to buy a 4000+ or higher ;):D
looks sweet, to bad its still out of my price range!!
I say compare the numbers on the 3700+ to the numbers from my Venice (now Bennah's) 3800+. I haven't got a chance to look through the link, but from what's being said here, it looks as if they're very similar in OC'd performance....
well its the extra 200mhz vs. the extra 512kb cache...
So what's the impact in terms of performance/benchmarks?Quote:
