on my bh5 I can change from 2.0 to 1.5 in windows, but I can't go from 2.0 to 2.5 or anything else. Can't go to 3.0 at all obviously.
really? with a64tweaker?
yup
edit: in case ur wondering, it's my sig rig, and nothing special about the sticks either, cause one is mushkin blk,the other is hyperx. Definatly not a matched pair lol
This is crapy BH5(like mine):mad:.My Geil is same s**t-working only at 1.5 and 2.0 and i can't pass 235 Mhz barrier with my max 3.0v VDimmQuote:

It's benchable at 265mhz (maybe 270 now, used to not beable to even load windows, but now I can) with 3.7v 1.5-2-2-6-7-12 etc... single channel, havn't tried dual channel, soon I will though whenever my neo2 gets back from msi :)
But no reason to run bh5 at cas 2.5 anyways. Whats the highest volts you gave urs? What mobo, I guess this is getting a little off topic, pm me or im me if you want some help. I couldn't get mine past 240mhz untill I tweaked the alpha timings, and by tweaked I mean made them tighter :p:
hmm, i have some old bh-5, in the form of 2x256mb single sided hyper-x. it's in my parent's computer at home right, so i can't play with it... though it does 220mhz with 2.8v on my asus a7n8x, which i think is pretty good :D
jebus, one of my friends bought some pc 4000 ballistix, and his lucky bum gets 240 2-2-2-7 and 250 2.5-2-2-7 @ only 2.8 volts!!! i mean WTF is that?!
i would think he can get more out of 2.5-2-2 if 240 at 2-2-2 is doable. :toast:
thought i'd bump this. got another 5mhz at 3.1v. i'm not certain, but i think something's up with my memory controller. i can do 230mhz and get 0-2 errors per pass of #5, then 231 = ~3000 errors!

Thats pretty normal. I can go from 245 with 0-2 errors and 246 is like 8000 errors. BH-5 btw. :stick:
bh-5 != -5b G ;)
edit: nvm, i was being silly. i see your point. i'm not used to having ram suddenly hit a limit like that though
