Looks like a really nice deal. I could care less about the manual though...the only thing I've used a motherboard manual for is to check out the front panel connection pins.

wow looks good, any word on if this will be released in UK? if so what sort of price we looking at? the good old $100 in US = £100 in UK??
This looks to be a very handsome board with good OC features for the price. I'd like to know of a release date as well since I have a few builds coming up.
that pcb is just plain ugly ;)
Hmm, this looks like a very good bang-for-the-bucks- board (alliteration) along with a 3000+ Venice, a 6200 -> 6600 mod'n clocked card and some nice and cheap new bh5. A bargain indeed if the overclockability is somewhat consistent.
Looks like something asus would make :DQuote:

According to DFI, there is also an ultra version of this board.
If there is an Ultra version I hope it has the 4 volt vdimm setup like the Ultra-D. Otherwise i wont be buying an nforce 4 chipset at all b/c I won't be upgrading my videocard to pci express until my agp card dies and since i can't find the volt-mod for it It might live a bit longer than my stuff usually does. Any word on how the quasi-agp setup works and if theres a performance difference compared with a true agp slot?
oaa ya windwithme !
that is look like nice board :toast:
and man you have cool mobile to :D
DFI's strength was always in their commercial division b4 Oskar came over and they targeted high end users with the NF2, Bet it's a great board for some.
with mb's so cheap compared to everything else the cost dif doesn't seem worth it to me. Missing Bios features and 4Vdimm (and I like the bling-bling).
I look at the placement of the bios socket under that bottom slot and all the way towards the rear of the rig and I shudder. As many times as I pulled it from the DFI NF2s I just got a feeling it would be a total nightmare if I had too. ANd I never met a DFI board I haven't had to at least once. :)
Wait for the DFI, chaintech is an okay company , but it isn't exactly know for quality products , if you want to rush it, get an MSI or an ECS instead .Quote:

Do you mean modded to sli?Quote:

"DRAM maximum is 3.2V"
I like the Vcore circuit is in a more well-ventilated area (compared to the terrible location on the LP nF4).
I would definately choose this one over the LP too, I don't see anything too special on that board but then I don't really go for extreme clocks.
since theres more space in the middle of the board, I dont see why they cant move the chipset above the pci slot. I mean it would make cooling it a whole lot easier
What dying syndrome? Do you have a link?Quote:

There are several threads here about dead LP's.
its pretty common to hear about random deaths on DFI NF4's around here, whether we are unlucky i dont know, i have no idea what percentage actually die, but it seems like i hear about more many DFI deaths then there should be on unmodded motherboards.Quote:
