So many bios...I dunno anymore what does what...which features...
It's all so confusing...
It would be good if a sticky was crearted with all bios and it's features...

Yeah I've come to the same conclusion. I manage a little more overclock on the ram, but lost my cpu overclock by ~200mhz (or more). I'm using the 326 BIOS right now with my chip at 2.4ghz and ram at 400mhz (using 2gb). I've had to use clockgen to use the dividers because there is something wrong with the BIOS.Quote:

Do the three versions of the 3/31 BIOS include Memtest 1.55 or 1.55.1? Apparently 1.55 had a multiplier bug, so 1.55.1 was released... Memtest.org refers to 1.55 on their site, however, if you watch closely... the download link is called 1.55.1...
BTW, someone else posted about 1.55.1 a few days ago on here. I'm not trying to steal their thunder - LOL

so strange how i freeze from ~240+ on 331-1 and 331-2 (using DRAM table other then 310).
anyone else experiencing this on a winnie? u guys think rotating the ram sticks would help and or switching to yellow?
whats also wierd is the DS and data DS settings and bios that work well for TCCD have also been working well for my BH5 (still stuck/unstable in some places though which need to be ironed out).

My system is working stable now with 331-1 based on 3.26 with two 512MB brand new Corsair XMS 4400 TCCD sticks.
I've testes three different memory brands during three days with all three BIOS versions. Well, first was OCZ EL DDR 4400 Dual Channel Gold 2x512MB Sticks (Hynix I think) the modules needed 3,2V for a 2,5(CAS) 5(Trcd) 10(Tras) 4(Trp) timing with 300Mhz 1:1. The rest of the parameters I've to set too slowest possible (in umbers high) values. For the real high price not the best choice.
Second: A-Data DDR 600 2x512MB (TCCD I think)
For TCCD this moduls needed a real high voltage of 2,9V (2,96V). Worked stable with 2,5 4 7 3 timing with 300Mhz 1:1. With higher voltage, or little lower voltage the setup gets instable. Well between testing with A-Tweaker (setting Twtr and Trtw to 1) the machine crashed and one of the sticks went to the devil. My DFI only beeped with both modules inside. With the now defect one the mobo counted memory to 64... and nothing more. BIOS hangs. The other stick was alive but wasn't working over 240MHz. Used BIOS based on 3.26 for killing the A-Data modules.
RMAed the modules immediataly and got some Corsair XMS 4400 TCCD.
And now the the facts maybe interessting for other corsair TCCD users or TCCD users in gerneral. The modules are working with 2,69V (2,6+0,03) with 2,5 4 7 3 timing with 300MHz 1:1. CPU is at 2700 MHz. The real interessting thing is, the modules are only working with this voltage. One voltage setting up, oder down is a no go. The modules have a real little sweet spot. Try to increase the voltage in very little steps, no problem with the superduper DFI, to find the sweet spot of your modules. Using the 3.26 based one at the moment. It running really great. Perfect mobo thank you DFI. I believed my CPU is the problem until I recieved this board. With both MSI (Neo2 and Diamond) 270 FSB was the highest possible value. Really happy now. Fine tuning follows.

Also for BH-5 the 326 based 331-1 is the best, had some boot problems :sick: with the 331-2 and 331-3 was a bit unstable.

It's the same with my combo. 326 works best with the TCCD ones. Sold the expensive OCZ today. To bad for the big amount of money. Mayve they are working better with Intel systems. Not a real good choice for A64 users.
What ram clock you get with BH-5?

i can confirm the yellow slots do indeed work (using 331-3). no more message (for dual channel...). dont be afraid to use em guys when testing!:)
for mine BH-5 old and new dies 310 official or 331-3 bios works best
yeh my LE's like only 2.7v @ 300 too 3.10 bios, but when i first had them they wanted 2.8v ....then after a couple of weeks i had some stability problems & went back to the drawing board and it seems they now prefer a little less. :confused:
nailing the perfect tref and drive strength settings made this board come together.
mouawad, what values are you using for drive strength and Tref. I use auto settings at the moment. Are LE's tccd too?
using 0780 for tref
and 7-2 for the data strength options
yes the LE's are tccd and my sticks are touchy too ....they seem to have a sweet spot like yours for every step.
ie at 200htt if i give them anything more than 2.5v they hate it .....they like 2.6v only upto 280htt and over this it's 2.7v which is the nice spot for them.

I've been a little bit fast posting the setup stable. RMAed Corsairs today. Very strange RAMs. @300 Memtest stable for about 6 rounds test 5. Stable with windows nemtest, but nothing else. Benching the system with sandra, or everest, no go. Always bluescreens "USB_BUGERROR". All other benchmarks same thing. I've tested every BIOS with all possible setting 1T, 2T, 2 4 4 8, 2 5 4 8, all setting auto, an so on. Setting the voltage a little bit higher, or lower showed many memtesterrors. Swapping the dimms, no go. Trying lower Frequnecies, 295 was slowest possible over 220. Every setting betwenn these two frequencies with any multi, the systems won't boot. Only memtest was possible with many errors. Not really compatible with athlon64 this RAM sticks. Worlds finest RAM, lol.
I've changed them into OCZ DDR 4800 sticks. 3 hours test 5, no problem, benching no problem. @300x9. Well, I'll see how they perform over some days before I'll post any settings or saying it's stable again. Just look to corsair forum. There are some more people having heavy problems with their Twinx 4400c25 kits.

I'm using 331-3 for my GSKILL PC4800 512LA and hit new high, rock stable at 326 1T 2.5-4-3-7, can crunch memtest, superpi 32m, and prime95 all day long, multiplier 8 and such high FSB were not possible with any other BIOS:
