memtest in bios rulez ;)
are these beta bioses based on the new final bios btw?
Little problem found in bios 310.2.
I got a SATA HD connected in SATA1 and the BIOS recognizes it in SATA3.
In the boot screen it's recognized correctly as connected in SATA1.
Strange...
Btw, anyone has problems with a DFI Ultra-D and Plextor 716A?!
hey opb is there going to be a vid card overclocking tool like msi has in any future dfi bios because that really is the ticket to ocin the gpu way more stable thanx:)
I had that sort of reverse in bios 217-18 also. Just switch cables around.Quote:

Good question, wouldn't mind knowing the answer myself.Quote:

Because of that I expect any NF4 board is capable of such things.
im now flashed to 3.10 p's and running good here saw em up on the Street
omg opb ty for these gifts i threw in bios 310 and omg omg omg. i pulled my old bh-5 2x512 stix out (had cobwebs on em ) slapped em in to see what they would do, so i set multi down to 10 on the fx and started cranking em up with clockgen :) i peaked at 285 2.2.2.5 ( stable for spi 1m and sandra mem bench) every thing else in bios to auto except cpc, and ltd at x5 with just 3.2 volts thank you again for the awsome bios. never thought i would use that bh-5 again i may have to go rip off some benches:) the fx-55 loves this board as well with 1.61 vcore i can get it 3.2ghz with jacking the multi or raising the htt it stops at 3.2 with that volts and the vapo on it. anyone know what max safe volts 24/7 is for an early fx-55? thanx in advance:)
Anyone try these with VX yet? Any problems? Which one to get, the performance BIOS or the standard official BIOS?
:D My FX has its sweet spot at ~1,8 Vcore / 3.360 max. stable - running it all the time with 1,8 on single phase at ~ -55°C / no problems so far.Quote:

My 2x512 Corsair 3200XL v1.2 can get stable only if CPC is off ( 2T ) . Newest bios 3.10 can't help to run at 1T in dual channel . I tried every bioses and recommended setting but same result . Anyone got it stable at 1T in dual channel and how far does your overclocking go ? Please help and post your setting .
I did not really notice a difference, but the bios works well.
I too have been wondering this. I think it's a fantastic idea and really suits DFI's reputation for overclockers. I would love to be able to overclock in the bios without having to have software installed in windows to do so. If MSI and Gigabyte have this shouldn't we?! If this can happen as well as show temps during post like on the NF2 board I honestly can't think of anything else this board is missing. ;)Quote:

The same chip was on my old AN50R and I had the same probs. When I measure my rails with my multimeters they are about 0.5V higher!Quote:

I'm not having any problems with the bios that came with my Ultra-D. System is running solid with the settings in my sig. Is there a performance increase with the new bios? It seems my CPU hits a wall at 2.7 on the nose so I was wondering if the newer bios would help get a little bit past.
OT is there a thread like the official tips and tricks thread for the the Neo2 for the DFI nf4 boards?
you are the man opb :toast:
i burn it and it work jest fine
:D Flashed the BIOS yesterday into my wifes brain but she still refuses to clean up the house - should I try a Vcore MOD ???? :p:
:toast:
Try to insert the ram in a different 'slot', if nothing else you should get some type of response!Quote:
