If you guys think the coils & heatsinks are just big like other PSU's u've seen think twice as the PSUs dimension fools your eye to think it is decent sized when in fact they are... huge
I am too chicken to have it running open and adjusting those pots. I took the shots for some other adventurous one to find out :P Honestly these heatsinks and capacitors are too close to those pots.
yea, it looks like very precarious work, i wouldn't try that, they are right in the middle of all the guts. and i wouldn't want to get electrocuted, or worse, wreck a 300$ psu :p:

They should be able to help you out... in US, I got mine from US West branch.
On the second thought... You send me decent number of that DDR Maximizer and I send you the PSU :) Let me make some profit from these eager people here :P (J/K). If you have problem acquiring one, I could play middle man for you if you wish.
I got mine from www.amastore.comQuote:

You didn't listen to me man... I am in cali and I paid total 278 after tax and shipping. Funny enough, getting it from zippy direct ended up being much cheaper and I was able to get their line layout, etc on fax :PQuote:

Just make sure you can stand the fan's noise :D It's like a 80' vantec tornado...Quote:

Right now its in pieces on my desk, waiting for the motherboard/CPU back from Hell-Fire. Its going to look really cool when its done, just got a new ThermalTake Tsunami Dream Case, 3 CoolerMaster 120MM Blue LED Fans, 1 ThermalTake 90MM Blue LED Fan, 2 12" Dual UV Cathodes, my OCZ PSU has UV Blue sleeving, the floppy, CD-ROM, ATA-133, and SATA cables are all UV Blue, and when I get my water cooling it will have UV Blue Dye. Quite a blue computer :)Quote:

Someone going heavy on memory? :P Doesn't HiPro's unit work off 12v though? :)Quote:

He said (qoute) soon, it will be soon (quote) for the mem. maximizer :D
there are hipro power supplies at newegg, any relation? sorry if this is a stupid question. but looking at his maximizer, and how great a piece of work it is, i figured i'd at least ask.
No relation.
This is the PSU I have and it is huge, I have it in a Chenming Black Full Tower case, Model "901AD-BLACK-0" and it still takes careful planning of optical drive placement. The wires are also very long so you need space for them. I thought my DMM was broken at first, it never moved off of 12.10v  But while rebooting it did jump to 12.11 and running two instances of F@H it will sometimes drop to 12.09v  :p: This is with 2x200MBSeagates, 1 IDE 60GB Seagate, DFI 875P-T, 3.6@280FSB(14x), 1GB GSLE, NEC 3500, DVR-Rom, floppy, 2 FFB1212EHE's, 3 TFB0912GHE's, and a 5900>5950u.
I'm afraid of those delta monsters, my beloved Antec550 died try to run those fans :DQuote:
