do these things exist in 512mb stick or 1 gig packs?

yes........ it exist in 2 x 512MB Speed premium as well :banana: :banana: :banana:

so i might be in luck with my order then. I just ordered 2 512mb sticks from newegg.

if they don't look right you can probably not even open them and return them and possibly get new ones, and all you are out is shipping charges.
