Pre ordered, they said 3rd week of Jan, so probably 1st week of Feb.
Im planning on getting a NF4 Ultra-D...
along with a x850XT PE
dual Xpress Ati version of dual gfx cards ? so I could buy my x850XT PE and later on, a bios or something might enable Ati dual gfx ?
NF4 Sli DR will have better overclocking compared to the Ultra-d version ??
better raid 0 with SLI-DR ?
Nube I am doing the same but with the SLI-DR, I think AMR/SLI will eventually work with all boards through drivers since VIA have said dual cards will work on their chipset.
Dxg is to allow user to use 2 graphic card, but in non-sli mode, allowing quad monitors

i read the topic first time.. nice review and nice mobo but the price is really insane...
almost 400$ man
Its not that expensive... at www.overclockers.co.uk they have the Ultra D for 89.99 (Pounds, including VAT)...
Another update: subheadings in bold...
ummm, wont ati "sli" only be working with the new ati chipset...thats what i heard anyhoo.
That's official, but DFI may have a trick up its sleeve... who knows...
No way that the Ultra board can handle dual ATI cards. It uses an nVidia chipset for crying out loud. It would not suprise if it could handle dual nVidia GFX card, but not ATI. Well, that is what seems logical to me anyway.
Anyway, this is a A3 board and not a A2 right?
I really hope so!Quote:

NF3 worked well with Ati made cards.Quote:

People talkin about ATI SLI, why in hell would NVIDIA develop something ATI "should" make...I mean whats next? wishing Nvidia fabbed ATI cards and put a ATI badge on them...if there is no ATI SLI only ATI is to blame....
VIA K8T890 supports dual gpu for any 3D card... haven't seen any results yet...
Its £105.69 including vat. The price you quoted is excluding vat.Quote:

Yeah, i just hope that its really a 5V rail they're using, it might be that if they're using a 3.3V that only some PSU's will deliver enough juice :stick:Quote:

Considering a lot of us are going to land a board January 30th to early Febraury, there will be a LOT of "reviews". Unfortunately i have my A/O Level mock exams, which pretty much decide whether i get a $50,000 scholarship, so i wont have too much time to thourougly get to it, especially as I'm determined on a DFI case mod :)

DFI Price Down (0-5%)
shouldn't the LANPARTY UT nF4 Ultra-D be able to do SLI, too?
i mean, it has 2x PEG-slots....and fake-SLI works on 1x PEG and any PCIe-slot.....
so, what's going on?
or did DFI disabled something with those Big-jumpers?
