P4 E0's 478

any idea when these e0's will be available at say... newegg or zipzoomfly?

i know the market is knida saturated with d0's.. i'm guess this is why we havn't seen them yet?

as i've seen your impressive sigs before =), i must ask... what mod have you done to your Vapo PE to get your 3.4E D0 to 5.443ghz? any voltage mods? and what board? :)

Well they carry the "J" stepping 775's, but you can't tell from their site if they have the 478 E0's. :(

One place I think would have them is Fry's (B&M, not Outpost), since they only stock a few at a time, and always have new shipments coming in...

I got mine from here: http://memoryexpousa.com/noname44.html 3.2E SL7PN. Mine is running happy and stable as hell at 4010Mhz. I think this CPU would do more, but the IC7 max 3 is holding it back. Does not provide enough power to the CPU... I think most Socket 478 boards will have this problem as they were not intended for Prescott in the first place.

I have the vcore at 1.51v but I think it would do this at default. I hit a wall at 4.1Ghz, no matter the voltage, it is not stable, the machine does not reboot or error or lock, but super pi, p95 and fah all fail... I think it is the board personally, but I'll never really know.

If you've read this you'll know why. The voltage reached your cpu is like 0.4v below the value you set.

It might be your cooling? They say the prescotts need really low temperatures to pass 4,1-4,2 and I think that's true. Look at my "What's limiting my FSB?" thread, where I found that lowering the temperature really helped me a lot to oc my 3,0E higher!

Now I want a Mach2GT :)

if someone have a litlle 3.2 e0 or 3.4e0 i am lookings for one

Are there any 478 mobo's that DON"t need a droop mod to supply enough juice? I cant void the warranty of these boards here.. I CAN buy any motherboard available ;)
