Have you guys tested to be sure you have the motherboard and any extra power connectors for video cards or items linked to the system through agp/pci/pci-e that need extra power are all on one rail? HDD's, floppy, and optical dont count since they do not send a +12v or +5v signal back through their connections.
My thinking is that the dual +12v rails may be conflicting with each other if you have one connected to the system (through the atx connector etc) and the other through the video card or an extra add-on card that may require extra power.
This assumes that the +12's are not connected internally too, however.

im running my system out side of the case with only one hard drive a video card and 2 sticks of memory thats it. oh and the box cooler.... i went out and picked up a new PSU to tide me over. right now everything seems to be working fine, ill just have to wait and see if it happens...
