I can say this, if theres no 4 hole mount I won't even consider the board no matter how much hawgwash they tell me, it may be designed by overclockers and nasa but no mounting holes and all the sudden my whole cooling system is useless...

I didn't see any mention specifically about a /6 or PCI lock. The supposed PCI lock on both the Asus and EpoX boards are maybe there and maybe not.
I guess what I'm asking is: does anyone have any firm knowledge that there is or is not a /6 or PCI lock?

designed by ocers huh what do they cool wiht a stock amd fan?
holes and pci lock or 1/6 and ill get one, if its missing holes or it doesnt have the pci lock and or 1/6 its just another 333 chipset board that you cant cool properly
Eheh. I expect back lash to be strong in the overclocking community if there isn't at least a 1/6th divider. Especially after the delays and hype of nforce 2 boards. How much ยงยงยงยง can AMD guys take. First we get the kt333 which was ok even though AGP tearing issue around 200fsb for many who bought this board. Then the kt400 boards show up with no improvement over the kt333 chipset and now the much hyped and late nforce 2 which seems to be nothing more than a kt333 with good onboard sound shows up with no more overclocking features than a board out last year. These mb engineers aren't stupid. They have to know that AMD needs a better fsb to open up the bandwidth so someone is holding them back from implementing it correctly.
If I was a conspiracy theorist, I would think Intel is paying off Via, Nvidia, and ALI to hold AMD back. Either that or AMD is making mb manufacturers hold back on these options which is shooting themselves in the foot. Either way, by the time the options are here that we want the socket A chipset will be obsolete. Sad with these chipsets there is absolutely no chance for AMD to catch Intel. The cpu's have a chance but the chipsets they run on suck for enthusiast.
my via 333 board has no problem with 200+ fsb and tearing 213 is no problem , ive had it up to 215 and no tearing..
they may be paying off via , and sis but remember ali's been in the iwill xp333 and its had a 1/6 for over a year
so here's the bios!!
some one colud open it and have a look ??

i tried with biosview and awdbedit but didn't worked
Same here. No holes=no buy. I'm not going to spend another 50 bucks or so upgrading my waterblock, when what I have works perfectly. Put the 4 holes back on the board!
No 4 holes and I'm out. I can't mount this rig without 4 holes:

My Swiftech water block can't just hang on a clip!
