depending on if your looking at the 2.8a's or the 560's.
superpi ranking. look at the fact that the top 3 are all 23 second prescotts, two being 5.58ghz 2.8a's, the 3rd being a 560 at a bit higher speeds, to compensate for memory being lower, i think...
I highly doubt we will see anything more than a 4GHz screenshot with 130nm. amd is having yield problems with 90nm at the moment to the point they cant get the 90nm winchesters to clock as high as the 130nm fx55. Maybe we will have 4GHz with 90nm only on exotic cooling but on air cooling ive yet to see anyone hit 3GHz but I remain hopeful the day will come. Half multis arent supported so it rounds up to the nearest whole multi, he should use that whole multi and maybe he can break 22s in superPI 1m? why arent we running 2m or 4m? 1m is already too fast! I see he got 3.57GHz in superPI but for 3dmark2001 who knows? 3.3GHz? 3.4GHz?
My jaw would have hit the floor but its wired shut. :( :dammit:
Untill we get down to under 4-5 seconds in 1M, Superpi will still be a very easy way to compare CPU/memory systems quickly. At that point people will just move up to 2M.
I think we will see 4 ghz, and if people got the 90nm higher than the FX-55, people wouldn't buy the FX chips. 90nm is new, should be very interesting soon.
Holy Smokes...that is just amazing.
That screenshot was enough to put a smile on my face after watching the performance of the :censored: :censored: Cards.
OWNAGE! :banana4:
OMG Completely SICK
/me wants :slobber:
Yeah, too bad memesama doesn't post here. He's always got crazy high clocks. :toast:
Awesome clockspeed of the FX!!! :toast: OWNAGE!!!
P.S.
GF4ti4200 telling memesama what he "should do"!!! :stick:   :sick:Quote:

He probably forgot more about computers than you will ever learn.
Have some respect for the elite.

and ti4200 WTF? :p:
or even TWO 6800U's SLI'ed :D :D :D   :banana:Quote:

"I think we will see 4 ghz"
with 130nm fx55? is this a prediction? ;)
"Dude do you really think that _you_ of all people are in any position to give superPI performance tips to memesama?"
I probably was asking myself this. I could learn from him, not the other way. I ask why hes using the half multi, of course he knows but his reasoning will educate me. am I correct that the half multi has certain performance bugs? doesnt the ram run async of fsb with half multis? Let me congratulate his 23s again and I am curious to learn too :)

I wish they would, bet at least one could break 40k
yeah if the japenese started there would sure be a battle for top '05 marks thats for sure. it may even start a LN shortage! :D
Insert Darth Vader Voice Here...
Most impressive.
i'll take 7

It's funny to see a 3.8ghz AMD because i never thought amd cpu's would reach intel's frequences and this actually tops any current intel which is 3.6ghz i think. Weird.
