Maybe it's the Marlboro cigarettes. They seem to always be present when you guys bench well. :D

It appears the yields on the FX chips are getting better. A few other people who recently bought the FX are getting higher-than-average clocks.

I bought this CPU from a Portuguese hardware store was the only one there when I catch it, no hand picked at all, just have some luck :)

We have several BH5 256, I have 2x Mushkin Level2 BH5, Ricky's unbranded 2x old 3200 but fantastic BH5's (our talisman in previous benchs - near 280 with fastest timmigs), just in case we will also have ready to use 2x512MB OCZ PC4200 and a pair of EB's.
But with decent VMem (near 4v) on the Gigabyte, at least for 3DMark 2001 I'm sure we will use one of our BH5 at 2-5-2-2 ..

Yes the dam keyboard should worth like 1 Euro, like 1.000 times less than the oficial price of FX-53 :D

i think the best will be the Mushkin Lvl2 , Pkrew used them and could have 275 2/2/2/5 1:1 with 3,7vddr; you will have to boot at 230 FSB with them , don' forget to try both pair of dimms ;)
