new record with ln2?
Use that LN2 bottle you got laying around and set the WR.

I would just take the picture and drag it into your other picture. Then take the layer you want to be transparent and put it on top, then lower the opacity of the layer and that should be itQuote:

His is completely stable though. But who says yours won't be soon enough?
damn dude, want to donate me some money charlie? or even some hardware? ill take that fx-53 if your tired of fooling with it ^_^
The AMD64 chips are maturing well ..nice work Charlie :toast: Looking forward to results when you sort the memory out.
90nm San Diego is looking pretty good for next year, but i think the 130nm chips will just get better and better all the way up to Christmas. Intel are just out of it at present.

penguin brand!!! :D
lol, sorry but my PS skills really really suck ^^
ive never ever played with PS before and dont get how this layer thing works :D
this is all i could do after i played around with some filter functions, hope you like it :p:
EDIT:
now hes holding his hand right above the Mhz hehe :D
looks good.......
Comparing to Tom's......that's difficult. The highest unstable screenie from Tom was "only" 3400.2mHz.... but he's rock solid at 3300mHz....
The stability comes from the cascade, that evap stays within 2-3C all the time, loaded or NOT. If I let the DI sit in the tube for 15 minutes, My base will hit -70C.... but then it's a race back up, lol. Like I said earlier, I was running sPi at 3200+mHz and 4 times it got through to 23s, the second to last group....it would have been 25s i'm SURE. I've looked at others sPi runs and that last group would have taken 2 seconds or 23s + 2s = 25s or 1s behind Tom and that was with mem running slow....
These FX-939's are really nice....this one is EXTRA nice as i can bench on air at 2700+ and grab a screenie at near 2800.
EDIT: Tom has a 3486mhz entry at vr-zone..... so he pwned me by 46mHz
C
Actually Tom has a shot of almost exactly the same speed as yours...
sweet vanilla silicone amd is playing with there... very sweet
have you seen this italian group that pumped LN² through a waterblock to cool their cpu? they must have reached much better temps that way! all you need is a pump and hoses that can stand those temps. it shouldnt be a big problem when you let it all cool down slowly. then you just need a tank with the dry ice in it, and a waterblock with the hoses leading to the tank. instead of water or LN² like the italians used you could use alcohol as a fluid running through the block. just make sure you are in a well ventilated room when you do this ;) hehe
that way you should get very stable and low temps! :)
a few mhz more even :DQuote:

pretty good for first time with PS saaya ;)
Yeah, these chips keep getting better....remember how Tom's latest CPU was better than the previous one? And his last one was an 0412, mines an 0420....if Tom had a new FX-939 on his cascade, he'd have 3500 for sure :D
damn with those amd chips getting closer and closer to 4ghz the prescotts look worse and worse.
Heh, looks like Intel in gradually gonna die unless they release some uber nice overclockign chips...
nah, intel would even survive if amd chips would be 30% faster...
just remmeber when the athlons broke 1ghz and the first cps came out. they killed willametees in every single bench and still most people bought intel cpus "because those alien comercials were so funny" :D
Dude, i was considering getting an Intel due to the Alien commercials... lol, they were great, but in the end reviews showed me the light :)
hahahaha :rotf:
charlie, what video card do you have?
also, how does the 53 compare to the 51?
ECS Xabre200 Ultra Platinum edition "golden sample" :D
I think the dif 51 versus 53 is about 200 mhz.Quote:

from 2800 to 3000
or
from 2900 to 3100
or
my case:
3150/3195 to 3360/3400 bench range.
Btw: looking forward to I get FX-939 charlie:D
I see, the competition is still taking place. At 3+ Ghz, that card is one heck of a bottleneck.Quote:
