this 4-29 bios is slow. I lost 200 points avg. consistently. :D
I've had no luck with the (R) revised versions. The original B505-C18 works very well here, even though its a LP-B BIOS and using on the Infinicky.
P.S. That GI-NORMOUS "LANPARTY" logo on boot is insane!!!

The offset describes the position in the table, first you gotta find the line endinf with "F" as "0F", and then the column with "6" as first digit, meaning "60". Together they create the offset 6F (60+0F), you can see the value for the hex number there.
I the lower area of the program you can see the chosen offset (where the cursor is), and its value in hex and binary. There you can make the changes, but it only sticks as long as you don't reboot. That's why there's an app called WPCRSET that makes setting stick and resets them when rebooting into windows.
For me the revised versions were totally unstable and locked up clocking my setup in windows... :(Quote:

5-5 C18 works like a charm here too :D
i would also recommend the 5-5C18, it got me from my rut at 240mhz fsb to 250mhz fsb :)
I am running the revised 429-c18r, its fine. Same as the rest I can only do 240fsb. Did I thank Sae for the 3damark2001se boost? Totally stable 80Mhz AGP 1.7v vgp. 19.7k without a v-card overclock.
429-C18 has been much more stable for me than the 131 was so far... its like night and day damn near!.. yikes.
As to CAS 2.5 - Its because thats what i've been running.
Tried CPU Disconnect, did those 2 tweaks... set my cpu interface to optimal, done basically everything you can think of short of doing the southbridge voltage mod still loses usb/sound/lan heh...I will just use the 1/21 bios forever :)
stock cooling on your sb ?
maybe its just getting hot...

Swiftech on the northbridge, Stock northbridge cooler on the southbridge, and the southbridge cooler on the sata chip(yeah its useless but I had to stick it somewhere)Quote:

Me too :) I am testing the 4/29 RS121 Infinity bios, but if it works out for me(so far so good 255fsb I usually drop audio/lan instantly) so if it turns out ok I will be begging for a LP B 505 RS121 hehe :)Quote:

just like to say i have the infinity i flashed to this from 1/21 bios and used just the standard awdflash.exe to flah to the bios and this has definetly been the best bios i have used for the infiinity.... i recommend everyone use it

Here are my preliminary results with 5/5 RS1-21(the 4/29 was close to the 121 romsip, the 5/5 is an EXACT MATCH hex for hex)
I am running 11x 255 @ 1.75v 1.7vdd agp auto 3v vdimm
Its been going good for the hour, I will keep you updated, I looped 3dmark 5 times(20 minutes), I am currently priming and listening to music and I havent dropped sound or anything yet....*keeps fingers crossed*

Hope I can go my high fsbs with it as with the original 1-21 there was a slight apic problem fixed in 1-31... I could not go over 260...

At 11x255??? Wow. I can prime at 11.5x256 over 8hours non-stop with 5-5 c18, but higher than 258 fsb I get vcore problems :( (dropping vcore)Quote:

Only 1.7vdd? Hope this can be true, for gaming it would be perfect. Most likely it will fail in games as Splintercell PT, Farcry etc....

Now that is strange, because with certain multipliers I can not boot, I can do 11x255 and my CPU can run 3ghz semi stable 2940 24/7 but like, I cant boot into windows above 2830mhz over 227fsb I think it is which I find odd, I would love to run 11.5x255 as that would max out my board/cpu :/Quote:

And I just ran some testing and it seems to do 3d @ auto setting for VDD
If you PM me your email I can send you it if you wanna try it too, its an Infinity 505 but it works great

Thanks mate, I just don't want to crap my bios with infinity one :( Otherwise I would like to try it. Maybe Adv can supply me one LP version...
I also noticed a wall for me with max clocks, but it's like 2975 or so... when I set multiplier to 12 it's booting up to 2976 (248 fsb) with the correct clocks. In case I use 12.5x I am only able to boot at 238fsb (=2975MHz)... With my original high fsb mult 11.5x I am able to boot at over 270 with no loss of clocks. I have no clue what it is, but I have the L12 war mod and the 1.775V default mod in place.
If I go higher with my fsb at 12x or 12.5x then I get a boot like 1440MHz or around that. 13x works over 240 again... but it's lacking vcore there :( (or stability for high vcore)
