Well, I had a SL6WK could reach 3.8(253FSB) with aircooling and 1.65 VCore. With WaterCooling HC200 4GHz + 1.75VCore was rock stable.
I believe that it is luck. I had other 2 CPUs of the same sSPec#, they didn't OC equally. Don't let yourself discourage.

BTW Also I had problems up 3.7, after burn-in(Prime95+1.8V) I could get the 4GHz OC. :confused: I didn't believe in that.

not on air. i need alot of vcore for 3831 in that shot. i think with a prommie i'd be right at 4ghz or slightly over.Quote:

lol i love this pic. "Socket populated" what else is it going to say? the stupid program wouldn't even be running without the socket being populated. heh
nothing else but the crappy CPU. well its not crappy but its not as good as others. I've been doing this for awhile now and im 99.999999999% sure its the cpu. ;)Quote:

well, it probably also works for dual cpu mobos so it could say cpu2 socket not populated.
