Raj does the z97 deluxe have a PlX chip? Seems Hardocp review says it does but Anandtech review says it doesn't.
Am I the only one who cannot install Windows XP no matter what.
Always a BSOD code 0X000000A5 or 0X0000007B (when used F7) during install
IDE set in Bios, and four different version of XP tested, all with the same result
Even with a harddisk where XP is already installed on I get a BSOD immidiatly
Please help, I really do not know what to do anymore
Everywhere around me I see people installing XP without a problem on the Z97 boards
Quick test new bios on bbse air

Hmm, BBSE lives on! I grabbed an M7H yesterday but it seems picky with RAM, doesn't like my Team 2666C11 but tolerates the Vengeance Pro 2400C10 (both MFR 8GB sticks). I haven't tried PSC or BBSE yet, but no profiles with this board so it'll be tougher than with the Gene.
Try these settings for 2600+ psc/bbse

It should be the same for M7H
Is it just me or does setting SA/IOA/IOD offsets manually seem to make things LESS stable? I'm flipping out here trying to get 2600 stable on this platform with the same CPU and RAM that worked fine on two different Z87 boards.
Try Hero UEFI 0508: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bz2...it?usp=sharing
0508 is not for XP though.

What SA/IOA/IOD volts are you using for those runs, Dumo?
Raja, just wondering when using either a m.2 ssd or a single sata express drive will the pcie 3.0 still run at x16 or x8 on the Asus z97 Deluxe and the z97 WS?
