This is a very good test
Tubing length equivalence is a very good idea to mention too - so if we gain 5' of tubing by using a 90 elbow, it's a win for example, or gain 3' and it's a loss.
It's been a while since I tested tubing and I didn't have as nice of equipment as I do now, but using a mixture of old vs new tes results...one 90 degree elbow is roughly equal to 4ft of 1/2" ID tubing.
I've got 20ft on order, I could run a quick PD test to confirm or correct that.
I suspect adding an elbow to reduce tubing length restriction rarely pencils out in terms of performance. Most people do it for the aesthetics side. Like wire managment...tubing management is another challenge and piece of the puzzle many people go after in builds.
:O
No epic MOAE?
