:rofl::rofl::rofl:
Em.Uhm.Wow.That was one of teh worst video clips i ever saw.
Anyhow, arent there intelligent technology oriented celebs out there ?
Theyve should employ some smart ass comedian, some good technology oriented stand up at computex would be cool :D
Fix'd
Actually, why didnt they get Paul Potts? He used to work at Carphone Warehouse and post on mobile phone forums so I'm sure he would be rather knowledgeable, at least compared to other celebrities on computer stuff.
Oh wait, right, he is rather overweight, old and not hip looking / trendy enough.

Ah, this thread is making my day so much better, we need more video's to lol at.
Looks like a the clown position has been filled.
They should of went with Christopher Walken, much cooler:cool:
Although, I believe he claimed he doesn't own a PC, nor a cellphone lol.
That sentence doesn't make sense.
Other than that, them being successful clearly doesn't make them not suck. Which is what they do. Suck.
Sorry, can't do. They suck. They represent roughly 72 to 85% of all that is wrong with the music industry.
Ironically it's hard to tell if you're talking about Intel or Black Eyed Peas!
Assuming they want to attract people with close to zero musical taste. And that's possible of course....
I think people get a little hurt when a giant global company does things that doesn't cater to their demographic. Those people lack perspective.
Here is a list of things Intel doesn't care about when making marketing decisions:
1. You.
Luckily on these forums there are alot of people that have perspective and insight on the IT industry.
I see this as a clever marketing campaign. Now all the non tech people in the world will choose Intel. It's not like he will do anything, he just signed an endorsement deal like and athlete or similar would.
It's the same what happens in the headphone community, Beats by Dr. Dre is seen everywhere and cost like $300 and are horrible overpriced crap that can be beat by even $50 headphone such as Sony XB500 in both bass quantity and overall sound quality. I hate it.
Intel has a very strong image for the mature and educated customer; this move affects their image there, just to win some teenagers with no idea on technology and no buying or decision power. Come on, giving the title of Director of Creative Innovation to a guy that wears huge sunglasses and crystal-covered shoes and says at the Intel booth he liked most the videocard is not proffesional on any planet.
Hey the only reason why anyone buys Apple is so they can be "cool", why not Intel too? This guy is one of the biggest guys in pop culture in the world right now and can open a whole new market for Intel. It is not like those that already like Intel will stop liking it because of a celeb endorsement.
As long as it doesn't result in any price hike cuz of the amazing "work" of the celebrity.
If any of you think that Intel cares about your opinion then you are living in a fantasy. We are already buying their chips regardless of who is promoting them.
I remember when Compaq had a CDV (pre-DVD era) of Dennis O'Leary (the comedian) narrating the set/upinstall instructions for their PC's.
He *was* funny....but all my friends at the time hated on him for "selling out"......
This is just Intel marketing to people who don't own a system with one of their chips in it....yet....
SO what if the guy is a knob? You don't get invited to do the halftime show at the Super Bowl unless you are well known and popular.
People like Michael Jackson, Paul McCartney and Prince. If the Black Eyed Peas don't play your brand of music then just change the station.
Don't hate on them for trying to capitolize on their porularity.
is this a joke ?
Intel is just trolling us.. so wacky they are..
I Got a Feeling, that tonights gona be a good night, for will.i.am
lol, oh wow, now ive seen it all.
Actually, they used to pretty good, before that disgusting woman joined and they decided to make hits for kids.
