@Pt1t
The new beta 1.33a is posted on ftp site for Xtrm6. Thanks for your work!

Good work pt1t :)
Now we need 2V+ for Dram and better subtimings options and this board will fly :D
All bios are updated on asrock website :
1. Add Vcore maximum to 1.7V.
2. BCLK interval change to 0.1 MHz.
3. Add "Internal PLL Overvoltage" to improve K series CPU OC capability.
4. Add screen capture function in BIOS setup. Press F12 to capture.
screencapture ftw
thanks
All bios less P67 Pro3 bios...Quote:

I know it's a cheaper motheboard than Extreme 4, but it still have a 8+2 phases VRM with heatsinks so 1.7v i don't think that it's a problem.
I'm on very limited budget so i will buy this mobo, hope they will do 1.7vcore bios for it to...

I gotta agree that Asrock is really kickin it with the p67 line. Debug display and onboard power/reset for $100 less than the big boys. Extreme4 may be one of the best bargains in a long time. Newegg is sold out.
BIOS 1.50.
Quote:
1. Add Memory channel info in BIOS.
2. Add print BIOS screen function.
3. Update "ME" and MRC code.
It also fixed lowered BCLK in beta 1.43A which was 99,8MHz instead of 100MHz.
But additional Vcore (1.43A) seems to be gone?
It's down to 1.52 again for me (1.5) :\
Any idea why I can't seem to overcome 4.5 Ghz?
I'm stable at 1.248V @ 4.4Ghz, but any higher than that and it won't even boot.
Tried up to 1.6 Vcore, no success. Also, bclk over 101.5 Mhz seems to be impossible for me :\

You can see my current settings on that screenshot.
I'm not that new to oc'ing, just seems to be a bad chip or something like that? Don't think the board is limiting me :\
hows this board handle hyper ram?
Guess pretty bad,my extreme6 wont allow hypers 2133 no matter the VCCIO,DRAM Voltage or timings,it just won't be able to complete 32M test in any situation. Also can't boot with CAS6@1866...
Hi guys, what do you think about the p67 fatal1ty?
Does it has dual BIOS??
I like the look, I'm also thinking in the asus p8p67 deluxe, but don't know much about asrock and their support sacares me a bit, but at leas it seems like they are updating bios and they work whithout many problems. Not like some years ago.
I had an asrock board in my c2d e6400@2.133 computer, really crappy for oc could't get fsb above 290... i changed it for the gigabyte p35c-ds3r and running just fine @3.00 Ghz and also 400+fsb whitout problems.
So seems like asrock has changed and seems more serious now, what do you think?? p8p67 deluxe or asrock p67 fatal1ty?? +2600k
Regards
IF you disable PLL overvoltage, how much do you get?
Doesn't matter what I set PLL Overvoltage to. I can reach ~4.45 Ghz by increasing bclk, anything higher stops me from booting.
I don't think my PSU stops me from booting over 4.5 ghz, this is not like I'm in Win7 under heavy load or something.. :\
Did an OCCT run with 4.4 ghz earlier today, linking the results for you. PSU test this is:

Does not look too bad for me.
@Cy4n1d3
How do you set your vcore in bios. Maybe via offset? This is not working well, for me at least. I use Turbo overclocking or fixed voltage.
I tried all settings, auto/offset/fixed.
On hwluxx there are several users capping out around 4.5-4.6 ghz, same symptoms like my system :\
Not sure if this is board related or cpu...
Just a short update for you guys:
it was definitely related to that crappy cpu... not even 4.5 ghz, what the heck.
So I got another one:

This looks much better to me now ;)
Disable Spread Spectrum in BIOS so you will have BCLK 100MHz instead of 99,8. The dark side of this is dualboot that occurs at start up.
Done :) Gonna do some voltage tweaking now!
edit: best I could do so far, gonna try some pll voltage settings and lower vtt...

So low CPU PLL Voltage?. Mine on auto is set to 1,832V
