Also I just checked and I am using version 1 of 3D mark 11 so I have downloaded the latest 1.1 version to see if this changes anything.
I managed to sort Heaven out I run it from the Heaven d3d11.bat file and it runs

For benching yeah, afterburner. But i just use CCC's 840/1325 for 24/7 as it has powerplay, just until i can flash the bios with higher clocks (and hopefully voltage).

Is DarkSiders work for you with OC at CPU and vga ?
Yesterday was the first time when i lunched Dark Siders on my new 6950 and it BSOD after a while with different errors like APC Index mismatch, Page fault in non paged area , etc ... I have to remove all overclock (CPU or vga) to make the game not crash.Is kinda weird i have the 940BE oced for over a year or so and no other game gave me this problems.I thought at first that the 6950 drivers were the culprit because they were buggy...
From performance point of view i got some problems..The game is fluently in general but have 1s freezes at regular time intervals..More like stalker COP.I have 4gb ram and 2gb VRAM.The rig is pretty balanced..My W7 x64 installation is pretty old..Should i try to a fresh OS install ?
Page fault in non paged area sounds like a memory/RAM BSOD. Someone else on here had problems with their overclock after upgrading to a 6970, they had to re overclock and increase volts slightly. That's what i would recommend. What was your previous graphics card?
I've played some stalker and i've had none of the freezing problems you describe. Although i did have similar problems with HAWX, but that was after installing the 1.2 patch, kept freezing for 5 secs every minute.
Reinstall of OS sounds good, that's if it's not too much trouble.
Got my Sapphire 6950 running stable at the CCC limits.
The version of AB I used with my old 460 won't go past the CCC limits, so I'll see if it's the latest version.
All you gotta do is go to C:\Program Files (x86)\MSI Afterburner, then open MSIAfterburner.cfg, go down near the bottom and set EnableUnofficialOverclocking to 1. Wouldn't use it for 24/7 though.Quote:

OCCT GPU rock solid @ 890/1450 with modded 6950, auto fan profile. Haven't tried higher on the mem b/c of CCC limits.
Games and benchies work fine up to 915 but OCCT detects errors so I backed it down for everyday gaming use. Still, this card has incredible value.

Modded + OC
890 GPU (11% increase)
1450 Mem (16% increase)

Heaven FPS increase (DX11) b/t stock and modded = 14%

Flashed Gigabyte doing 950/1450, no artifacts that i could see. Only thing missing now is a working soft allowing over-voltage.
This is my highest stable OC so far. I cant waiiiiiit to throw some volts at this thing.

We should set a standard to unigine settings so we arent all posting with different settings...imo. I think we should max the summabish out 8xAA 16xAF.

XFX 6950 flashed to a 6970.
I hit a wall at 905mhz on the core speed, it trips out 3DMark11 on the first run regardless of the power slider setting but will run at 900mhz on stock power slide setting over several runs. I can get the memory running at the CCC max of 1450 without any trouble.
So:-
Core 800 to 900mhz increase (12.5%)
RAM 1250 to 1450mhz increase (16%)
Temps are pretty good, topped out at 92C using furmark so I have leeway for a voltage increase and hopefully a few more percent.
Recommend 1680x1050 because I can't go up that high!Quote:
