My main/crunching/occasional gaming rig has 2 x 128gb Patriot M28's in Raid 0 and I have no issues as of yet. The drives are a couple years old now and have the Samsung controller's in them, I also use Diskeeper to help keep the drive tidy and fast along with having my pagefile on a separate WD VelociRaptor drive. The drives have a 10 year warranty on them so if they break no biggie, I keep nothing life threatening on them anyway
On Vista I know it was recommended you keep a small page file (128MB). I'm running Windows 7 on my SSD. I completely moved the page file off the drive. Haven't had any problems yet. I'm using 6GB of DDR3. I have heard removing the page file means crash reports won't be generated. To me, that's not a big deal.
