love your work, are u going to offer lifetime keys for a reasonable price like everest used to

AFAIK EVEREST has never had a lifetime license. The usage is perpetual, but the maintenance/upgrade period (during which you can upgrade to a new release) is always limited, usually to 12 months.
EVEREST had 2 and 3 years of maintenance period, optionally. We may offer such a license for AIDA64 too in the future.
Fiery, is bigNG supported in AIDA64 like in EVEREST? And Windows 7 Sidebar?
forwarded my license info to get this bad boy!
Jesus Christ, not everyone has a 32 inch display... Would you be so kind and shrink the image to 800x600?
Fiery. AIDA32 was at the time the best single application I knew of. Much respect mate :bows:
I used to have an issue with everest that would make games randomly bsod if everest was running on the background, is that fixed now ?
Submitted my old license from Everest yesterday and got my license for AIDA64 today :)
That could be the infamous issue of "improper implementation of ULPS feature in Catalyst drivers" :) According to our test runs, AIDA64 is not affected by that anomaly. However, if you still experience instability when ULPS is enabled, you can now disable multi-GPU support in AIDA64 / main menu / File / Preferences / Stability -- and effectively lose sensor readings for the secondary GPU -- to avoid ULPS issues.
When ULPS is active, the secondary GPU (or GPUs) are put to sleep state, and when a diagnostic software like AIDA64 tries to access it (them), then in rare cases a BSoD might occur. If you disable multi-GPU support in AIDA64, it will only poll the primary GPU, hence ULPS should not cause any troubles.
great program, sorry to initially question things, but hey, im a suspicious guy :)
installed it and damn it is good, seems to be much quicker than the previous version of everest.
I only have one suggestion, there should be some type of "export settings" function for this. when changing versions of Everest that always gave me a pain in the ass, i have to go back and set everything back up! using the sidebar and the g15 LCD it takes a while to get my monitors going... maybe there is and im missing it? (please say yes!)
+1 on that. I hate having to redo everything as well.
excellent suggestion, sir. i shall try this doing it with aida64 onto everest...hmm interesting!
EDIT:
ok bad idea :) wont try it, but i wish i knew which file i was, i could just rename it to the aida name......with future updates i will use this technique though.
hmm is it a hidden file? i cannot see it.
I just picked up a copy. I always loved Everest.
awesome. got it figured :) used the everest configuration file, renamed it to aida64 and dropped it in there, and viola! all settings there, cant beat that :)
Now that is something to remember. Awesome stuff.
I'm running the new 1114 beta and everything works great. I received a new upgrade key for my old EVEREST license. My bigNG data shows up in sensor page just like before. Sidebar looks fine. Thanks Fiery.
Yep, that's how it is supposed to work. We put most settings in the AIDA64.INI file, because:
1) Portability is easy, you can take all AIDA64 files, incl. your settings in the .INI file with you on your USB flash drive
2) Backing up and restoring settings is easy, when e.g. you do regular backups, or you intend to reinstall your computer, or when you switch computers (hardware upgrade)
3) Retaining all settings when switching AIDA64 version (upgrade or downgrade) is easy this way
Hehe, just gave it a try, works like a charm.
This means that in future overclocking competitions we will not see Everest anymore, but AIDA64.
hmmmmmmmm does it replace EVEREST? to be standard bench???
