Flankerp, please check out a few things for me about this chip !
1. VID in core temp. @ default
2. Temp. @ default setting on air cooling
3. Take a picture of the CPU Pin
Thanks, Bro !:)

Gratz on the new 970 Flank3r...
Can't wait to see your results!
I doubt that it's the case, but it would be really sweet if it was a Thuban with disabled cores.... :D
Be sure to push the IMC a little, if it can do 3Ghz stable that would be golden!
Beep: this time 3950 MHz with 1.45V was on begin for 3/4 years, this quality is now in history :-( (and it was in x86 OS)
MAD: ok:), today a photo and at weekend others :)
G80 Im beginner in LN2, il benching not only AMD but too Intels sometimes. Of course, AMD si my lovely winner still :).
Dave Its at 100% Deneb, but hope, good Deneb :-)
Diamont: Today is my day of straight. CPU pins :)
cant wait to see those ln2 numbers ... cpuz screenshot please :D
So, Pins are now OK. I used pencil and card for petrol :-)
Sorry for quality photos, i have not good photocamera (specially for makro :-D )...First before straight.

nice, my best c3 deneb did 4100mhz stable on air, think my best 3d06 was @ around 4335mhz but with a bit cooler ambients. i still have it, will probably hang on to it until zambezi is in my hands :D
Thx, Flankerp
PCB has been improved for this new deneb
Can't wait to see your testing result !:)
diamond: Neoseeker overcloked 970 BE at 4250 MHz with AIR ! Uff!
4254 MHz in OCCT
as i guessed  4,25ghz though a bit hefty volt like 1,52v (my 955 does 4ghz at 1,44v)
it might be more with golden sample ;)
not so bad anyway :)
1.548 on the 970BE is quite heavy for air cooling, but if you look at power consumption, its around an expected 118W over stock power draw. which puts it around 230W total if we add 125W TDP
the 1075T even though is only at 1.52 pulled in an extra 197W and makes it around 320W total adding in the 125W TDP, which just sounds insane.
when i was overclocking my 1055T, at 1.5-1.55 volts, i dont think the total power draw broke 320W (just cpu load) and idle was around 250W, and my lowest idling is around 180W.
keep in mind all my numbers are from the wall, so drop 20-25% off my numbers for power loss in the PSU and motherboard.
so if i take 180W, assume 20W for cpu idling, and then minus that from 320, basically it means my cpu never pulled in more than 200W, and thats at the same voltage as their test. so i think something is wrong with their 1075T load consumption
Flawlez: i must waiting at weekend, i have not motherboard and dont changing with my PC 1 number system with Thuban (im too lazy :-D )
wow 4250mhz! that is very impressive for deneb! for compare my c3 which was one of the better clockers got 4100mhz with 1.52v
my tetsing is suspended :(...friend is sick and mobo is by him
Don't forget to test Cpu-nb freq, hope there are improvements here too over older 965be :)
dont fear, i have it in my head :). SOme chance for benching is tomorow evening (with watter cooling),at 100% behind weekend with CM Hyper 212 and my older board. Now only hope, pins are good straightened.
Is this the unlock able Thuban based version OEMs were supposed to be?
think not, my is definetely Deneb C3
Ok,now its time to post some result :). First we see at default clock in 32-bit and 64-bit benchmarks, later some OC.
This 1028 DPMW is CPU with 1.375V as default.

First some Everest benchmarks:

Last before some OC testing is rendering in popular Cinebenchs.

And now what about overcloking? As always, i used classic CM Hyper 212 (board was MA790X-UD4). This CPU was a bit hot against last 965 C3. And big problem with this chip was, unfortunately, uncore:(...Maybe im not lucky at IMC here...reality is clear, i cant boot with 2800 MHz NB!! 2800 MHz for windows booting was not problem for my old x4 955 c2 revision. This chip topped at only about 2650 MHz at NB:(...But from other side, CPU clock was easyli nice against my last 965C3. One problem was temps, so, i must ended stable OC with 1.475V, others volts was crashed PC behind LINX or PRIME (temps was 63 C+). With better air cooling im sure, this chip can 4.1 GHz stable. With 1.475V was maximum at 4060 MHz.
http://img843.imageshack.us/img843/6...20mhznb147.png
Now some benchmarks with stable OC profile:
http://img214.imageshack.us/img214/8...inxoc4060m.png
http://img823.imageshack.us/img823/5...maxoclinx3.png

http://img299.imageshack.us/img299/2...4060mhz263.png
http://img828.imageshack.us/img828/1...4060mhz263.png
http://img198.imageshack.us/img198/2...nxoc4060mh.png

Quicktest in 64-bit R11.5 :)
http://img512.imageshack.us/img512/7...64bit4060m.png
Under 16s superpi 1M (as i said, this chip has really bad NB....)
http://img227.imageshack.us/img227/2...mhz2743mhz.png
wprime 32M 4200 MHz +
http://img243.imageshack.us/img243/2...mhz2400mhz.png
1.475V - 4420 MHz idling
http://img825.imageshack.us/img825/2...ce4420mhz1.png
1.505V - 4520 MHz
http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/828...ce4520mhz1.png
So, later (not today, but this month) il benching 64-bit and more maximum benchmarks at top clocks this chip, think, limit for validation is baout 4550-4580 Mhz, superpi limit at 4400 MHz maybe, 3Dmark about 4200 MHz
nice testing flank3r :)
Thx, Bro !
Now I have an idea of what 970be is all about!;)
Nowadays...it's hard to make selection by batch & number
I'm trying to work out the fastest way to find the good ones
thx. Later coming some better OC benchmarks and at 64-bit (Cinebench 17 000 points etc :) )
This chips isnt bad, CPU clock looks promising, but NB is big debacle :)
