...I have to admit that I was kinda sarcastic, since I have it - and I am far from "selected" :D
Don't you dare call me fat! I actually only weigh 65kgs. :D
Besides, I can't really say I'm leaking the mods, as far as I can rembember, there was nothing that stated these mods couldn't be made public. Besides, I'm quite sure MSI would like to see their motherboards used as widely as possible by overclockers, so I'm fairly sure there's no damage done. :)
the new 2.0x have not been released to the wild yet, with OC'ers having to sign an NDA aparently.
Seems pretty lame to me.
with my expereince that mod depent on chip if you board rev 1.0 ...if you chip can run more than 6ghz 3D vantage on other board you need that mod. if your board rev 1.1 I think you dont need that mod
What are the symptoms of triggering OCP on this board?
I'm at 1.45 vcore with a 980X. It's stable at 4.15GHz, but as soon as I set it to 4.3GHz, then run 12 instances of Prime95 small FFT, the CPU multi scales way down.
Definitely not thermal related as temps are fine...
I can't imagine I'm already running into the current limit though. This is on air... Both 8-pin are connected.
anyone tried QPI Vdrop fix?
done mod photo?
thanks & sticky
