I wish I could describe my jealous/awe/happy face to you when I saw that.
lol soooo hawwwttttt!
btw what camera? love the clarity of your close ups.
Glad you like it. I use a nikon D3000 with standard 18/55mm + for some raynox dcr 250 macro lens ;)
Good stuff Antho. Just saw this, and got to say I usually hate open case mods, but your colors and the carbon fiber .... good stuff ! Wish I had the time you did, to do something more with my own PSU unit.
How many hours (guesstimate) you have in this build so far roughly ?
Tuff to say, hs i start over three times each part to have a satisfying result, i would say more than 150h and i'm not close to the end :ROTF: . Has i spend my holidays at home it's helping for sure ;)

Country trip time :)
Thanks Guys,
I had a very bad day today :brick:
PSU V1.3 did died today in the explosion of a rotary fitting during the pump testing, a geyser hit the center of my little toy, followed by a huge noise, a lots of smoke and of course the Sade story finished in the dark. RIP
Friend, do not use chip rotary fitting for testing 2 ddc, serial mounted, with a simple tube from output to input.... the pressure is way too high
That's life, if you don't want that to happen never mix water and computer
Tomorrow i will grab a new one and start PSU 2.0, it will offer me the opportunity to make it better.... (and to end my bank account in the mean time )
After killing the PSU i did do mi paint job... here are some pictures

Your PSU died? WHY GOD, WHY?!
Well... now you can send the carcass to me.
A leek in the rotary fitting, perfectly well oriented into the PSU :( . This kind of things only happen to me i'm sure LOL
I will re use most of it, but i can link you the seller for the carbon (UK) ;)
Hi, I got the new psu today,. Do you have somes advices/thought to make it better than the previous one ?
better than the previous one? ... make it smell like bacon? I can't think of any possible way to make it better.
lol the last one smelled bacon before it burned
i finished the paint of the rads and fans, it took ages to polish properly and to have them glow, its not a mirror yet but its spray paint so...

http://a.imageshack.us/img32/2673/paint12.jpg
Wow! I'd buy those fans if the Magmas weren't so much to start with ...
they are not cheap and awful to paint, but they seems to work better and quieter than the yl sl i`m used to
Today i'll make a mesh case for the rehobus
http://a.imageshack.us/img517/1098/rehobus1.jpg
http://a.imageshack.us/img812/650/rehobus2.jpg
http://a.imageshack.us/img839/9792/rehobus3.jpg
And as the roatry and angled fitting are off the table i start to shape some tube
http://a.imageshack.us/img299/807/tube1.jpg
http://a.imageshack.us/img716/4493/tube2.jpg
Where's the Rheobus going? With the mesh, does it still fit in a 5.25" or 3.5" bay?
It goes on the side panel, take a look at the global picture on page 1 ;) . Normally it should still fit in a 5.25 bay. Tight probably, but i use the original sunbeam bracket as reference.
I had some fun with the bending brake, here is the front grid
It's made of 1mm alu sheet, then covered with carbon fiber :

where did you get the carbon fiber wrap? it looks pretty awesome..
i also enjoy your job on the HD's.. pretty clean I'd have to say
Ebay UK ;)
astonishing work ....
may you explain in detailed way how did you polish your painted rad ?
I'm curious because i saw you spry-painted it but the results looks like really professional
