so is 3D Mark 11 going to cause a new rush in 3D benching?

If people ignored the final score and only compared the GPU score, then the cpu part wouldn't matter. Still need a fast enough cpu to push the gpu but not a 6.5ghz 6core to get a good 3d score...

will dk11 make people bench more?
yes...
but how much greatly depends on how it looks and works...
if its anything like vantage, i wouldnt count on too many people starting to bench more...

and when is it actually coming out?

I think I will get tired of the MSI logo very quickly :p:
j/k honestly it took me some time to get used to vantage so it will be with the new bench I am somehow sure. additionally I wanted to go back in time and bench some older cards - as it's dx11 only well it will not play any role in benching old cards.

...imagine my face runin Vantage at 1st time "hell! is it a joke ? bwah! ugly first GT -__- damn it suxx" lol it was on my G92 Sli on an Asus 680i mobo...

I saw Uningine Heaven a few days ago on both P55 & X58 systems, if I feel it too much static I really rather such render and drawing ;)

What I expect is simple "have for my eyes" since I started GT benchmarks (AM3/3DM01 back in the days) the only purpose which made me run them was the way it render ...and now (10yrs after)
It's quite the same view on games : instaling them just to push graphics and don't even play for an hour...

Well expecting realistic and well drawn détails with the most FX used ok, but a bit shorten too, compared to Vantage, cus as a bencher now I stay fan of AM3 because of the time I save runing it to check my system. But so old now and no more representative of the actual technologies :/

Did I explained better what's in my mind dudes ? :D (what makes me come for real are M.Beier pix xD )
