2x Crucial C300 Asus P6x58D-E and Raid 0 Performance

The way SSD is improving, these drives will become absolute before Intel's chipset with SATA3 comes out, it won't be here anytime soon.

The problem seams to be the R0 on Marvel-controller,. It seams broken and may need some fixes. Is there any possibility for better R0 on Marvel SATA3 with a driver/FW-upgrade anytime soon?

As for the onboard Marvell onboad raid stuff, it should have been fixed months ago, it's not looking like they are going to fix it.

He's asking you if you will be upgrading when there is an intel chipset with a SATA 3 controller. If so you'll be ready with the crucial SATA 3 drives.

ah okay i understand now thanks for the clarification.

Im not sure if Ill be doing another upgrade right away. Maybe late 2011.
