You could also offer to specify the voltages, and what bios version you use
That's a pretty impressive random retail chip!
Anyway, nice clocks. especially NB clocks for 32M. CPU and ram as well of course.
haha thanx for the comments and of course hats off and a big bow to chew* for his excellent tutelage and willingness to share some tricks of the trade and his incredible knowledge of overclocking, i wouldn't be where i am now without him.
as far as my "random retail" chip goes, (which btw if a mod could pm or email me, i'd like to change my handle to that), the chip performed much better than i could've expected for a first day purchase from microcenter. i currently hold 4th in superpi 1m and 2nd on superpi 32m, not bad for my first foray into the ln2 extreme overclocking realm. I had a great time, and chew* opened up a whole :banana::banana::banana:load of doors for me. And of course, my chip survived the beating lol.
Looking good as always chew. Have you done any memory bandwidth comparisons with the 2 chips? 1840 @ C6 is lookin nice
If you are close to me, you can have the guest bed. Phone # in your PMs.
I was stuck in athens......no clue where the heck that is. Back home now after a 1070 mile trek. gonna take a hot shower and crash. Tommorow is another day.
