I have a 750w PC power & cooling too and it's very efficient imo.
like 82-85% with Euro 230v
EDIT : even better than I thought http://www.anandtech.com/show/2278/11

I added something good: Movieman category.
My most efficient machine is in the same class as Dave's X8DA3... can't beat a (stock) Dual Westmere-EP for efficiency I guess.
Dual X5650 Hexacore, PPD of about 75k/d at exactly 300W from the wall. Tyan S7002, 12GB DDR3, onboard VGA, TT Toughpower 650W (~83% efficieny), one HDD, 5 fans.
Just pulled my 1090T from my main rig where it pulled 320w:shocked: for 25,000ppd
Now pulling
180w:D at 3.6ghz with 1.34v for ~23,700ppd:rofl:
Just to show that the power consumption can be lower. This is the rig I posted in the thread I linked to in the 2nd post. It doesn't count for this competition because the rig isn't like that anymore.
I3 540 @ 3780MHz 1.15v. It used 86 watt running WCG.
And that could be lower without OCing.
But now I have it watercooled and changed the CPU to a i7-860.
3.3GHz @ 1.16v it uses 166 watt running WCG.
Only changes, still just one rig running.
Hey all!
Here is what I used to measure wattage....

Current Rigs: (not always running @ the same time)
With that said PPD is as accurate as I could figure....

PPD currently unknown. (haven't ran it steady enough.)
