Nice review mate, Should keep this thread alive as their are many new blocks to hit the market soon! dont miss out :)
nice review, the new koolance block looks nice.
On the strength of this and other reviews I replaced my XSPC v3 with a Rasa
That was a good decision ! :)
great review  thanks for the work :)
Thanks again ! :)
Amazing review man, this is just what I was looking for!!
Quick question though, how do you exactly read the flow rate graph? I mean comparing the XSPC Rasa to the EK Supreme HF for example. There is less than 20 liters/hour difference and that translates to only 0.075 GPM. That's really SMALL. So should I not just focus on that graph but rather the design of the two blocks even though they are quite similar?
Maybe I should talk about my build lol. ATM, I'm working on a watercooling build that will be more like a two part build. First I'm just gonna be cooling a Q6600. Once LGA2011 and some new DX11 cards come out (ATI Northern/Southern Island cards) I'll be cooling the CPU, Southbridge (I think that's what the new architecture will focus on), and 2 GPU's most likely similar to the heat coming from 5870's. So yeah I wanna run ONE loop with all this stuff and am wondering if I should go with the XSPC over the EK due to it having less restriction (although not by much at first glance).
I would recommend to set your focus on the first 5-7 blocks, when in the market for buying a new block because as you can see, many blocks are around just 1° temp difference
Black sun is really sexy:slobber:...nice review!!!
This is impressive work dude, very helpful as well. The Rasa block now on my desk waiting ;) Many thanks for your hard work.
I posted this in the [H] thread as well:
"...I wanted to resolve some strange discrepancy I've noticed:
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=254900 - Here, the XSPC Rasa is tested to be a restrictive block.
And in the review on this page, the XSPC Rasa is not restrictive at all.
I've seen one other flow-rate test: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=250327 - which shows the XSPC Delta v3 and Alphacool Yellowstone to flow better than the Rasa, which again conflicts with this test.
Any ideas?"
I'm just wondering if anyone can explain the discrepancy, or if I've committed some observational error. I was about to purchase an XSPC Rasa from SVC, but they're out of stock, so I may as well continue my research.
Hmm, maybe its because i had a beta version for my test and they made some changes in the final version
bundy?! great job.... ehhhehe. ;)
