I wish.. We are looking at limited controls on it now, but I would rather have a new design to be honest but I do not think AMD is wild about overclocking on the server side. ;)

But that sounds so much fun with Magny :D
Hey bingo13,
Is there a timeframe on when the new CrosshairIV Formula bios will be up?
I'm not trying to be impatient bro, but I'm hoping it's soon...
You guys have taken quite awhile for the update, Impress me! :yepp: :D
Will there be any improvement to the turbo implementation on the next bios for CHVI ? Or does this not have any priority at this time .
Computex this week threw a big wrench into the qualification process but we expect to have the next BIOS ready sometime next week. This BIOS will concentrate on the floating CPU/NB voltage problem a few people experienced along with some minor performance improvements. The BIOS spin after this one will feature improved auto overclocking, turbo enhancements, and finer voltage ranges with LLC enabled.
its possible, i can brokend more stable clock than now? :) 4300 MHz + ?
hi bingo,
an "early" beta for M3N-HT isn't (anywhere) available? i could spend some QA-time these days, I would also try out some issues I've already sent to asus supporteam in a technical request ... :)
thanks!
I'd just like to say that the Beta BIOS 1702 for the Crosshair III mobo is working for me. I haven't noticed anything abnormal yet.
Thank you very much to bingo13 and the people at ASUS for helping to fix this current problem.
So there are no news regarding the M4A79 Deluxe yet?
Bios 3501 didn't fix the 800Mhz issue while CnQ is disabled, even the change-log for it said it has been fixed.
Still no Multi above 18,5 possible with Deneb
(not to mention the QFan/Scythe Cooler issue and the vdroop issue since both will never get any fix i guess  )

Thanks Chri$ch.:)
Just in time for weekend!!! :D
Thanks Chri$ch!!!
Thanks Chri$ch! :toast:
Just flashed it and it even booted with my overclocked settings without resetting bios. :)
Gonna check if ht ref clock fluctuation is gone now.
Chrisch to the rescue :)
We actually have a later release in qualification testing at this point but this one is based on the code we sent to the test group that reported the floating CPU/NB voltage bug, based on initial feedback, it should be fine to use until the qualified release. ;)
If anyone has problems, let me know please. :D
This means, i have to update mine bios too soon ;) didnt even try the latest bios because earlier version worked pretty good on air and LN2 :)
I hope there will be soon working bios for M4A79T Dlx board too, selling it to my friend as soon as i get proper bios wich works with 965BE and x6 1055T.
Waiting or not waiting...? Hope, 0903b is not whorse for OC than 0707 :)
@bingo13:
Thanks for the quick reply and info :)
First off, thanx for this great thread. It at least gives me hope that ASUS is working on fixing current bios issues.
I'm running a M4A79T-Deluxe (bios 3107) + X6 1055T.
I know the bios is messed and read on the ASUS forums not to flash if u have a C3 stepping.
This bios locks the multi to 4 on the 955/965 c3. I noticed the bios also does the same thing with my 1055T if i disable Turbo Core.
This bios is very buggy. Incorrect voltage reading... i can't get the 1055T past 3.6ghz. No matter what i try.
Any idea when a beta build will be out?
Thx
mRY
i just flashed 0903 for the crosshair IV . i must say i never had bus speed jumps with 0801 . But With this bios my bus speed drops from 205 to 199 from time to time .
Can we have multiplier 16,5 with the bios 903 for crosshair IV on a X6 1055T?

And what is the procedure to active it?
