No it was AVG... Somehow my permissions got changed.... The last program I installed was FAH Tracker... Reset all my permissions and all is well now...
Version 3.34 has been released.
Important changes:
1. Added -nocpudetect flag that unlocks the SMP and -bigadv options in the config if the CPU detection isn't working
2. The Games.txt list included with the Tracker has been updated with the latest Nvidia driver game list dump (260.99)
3. An updater has been added for the Games.txt list (manual only)
4. Added TPF to the XML file output for use with 3rd party software
EDIT: updated to 3.34
Justageek,
You know what would be great????
If you could have this run as a service so it would startup after a reboot!!!
I had all my system go down while I was out of town and lost a whole days worth PPD's!!!
Thanks for a great program!!!!
Mel
Thanks for the clarification.
This is something that I may add in the future, but as of right now I don't know when this might be.
EDIT: GPU clients can't start until a user logs in anyway, so this won't be implemented unless that fact changes. If you need this capability for the CPU or SMP client then you can always configure them manually.
Version 3.37 has been released!
This version fixes a crash on Windows XP that could occur when starting the Tracker, along with some other bugs. The main new feature in this release is that the Tracker will now detect WUs that won't upload due to server problems. In these cases the Tracker will restart the client so that it can get a new WU. This feature does not conflict with other Tracker features such as the OneUnit setting or Heat Control.
Version 3.38 stable has been released.
This version fixes a long-standing bug where the Tracker windows appear to be resizable. It also adds support for bonus points on any WU with kfactor > 0 instead of just SMP A3. Also, if you still get the "Failed to read FAHlog.txt" error after updating to this version, you can use -debug to log more details about the error.
This looks amazing, gotta try it ASAP :)
Ok, I am officially sold on this. No more adding weird config flags or copying folders for multi GPU, just set it up in 10 seconds and it works. Awesome!
Just 1 small thing on my wishlist, if I may.. I would like to see the app minimize into system tray instead of the task bar. Nothing important ofc, just something that should be easy to include in your next release ;)
Again, THANK YOU on behalf of all folding noobs :D
Oh yeah, here's also a shot of the card I found in the trash
nice salvage job there jcool!
justageek, i have an issue with my gpu client stopping when i switch users in win7, F@H trackers reports the client running but at 0ppd and with no wu present... :(
any ideas?
Nobody else uses any of my computers so they are all configured with a single user. As a result, I have never tested this scenario before.
Does the same thing happen to the CPU/SMP client? If not then this is probably a limitation of the GPU client itself. If the SMP or CPU client shows the same behavior then there may be something I can do.
Version 3.39 stable has been released.
This version is mostly a bugfix release, but it does add one new feature. The passkey used for GPUs can now be set differently by using the -gpupasskey <passkey> command line flag. Specifying none for the passkey (-gpupasskey none) will cause the Tracker to use a blank passkey on the GPUs.
My GPU FAH tracker app just told me there is a V3.40 out - keep up the great work dude
What was changed, exactly? :)
Version 3.44 has been released.
This version corrects several issues with the Gaming Pause feature. It also includes an updated game list.
Version 3.47 has been released.
This version corrects a number of issues with psummary and the Tracker's own internal projects list. The most significant problems include bonus points calculation being applied to WUs that don't have bonus points and the last line of psummary being ignored.
