Thanks for the info, I quess Asus have to work hard because there are some high expectations on this board.
I agree, 227-229 is nothing special, itīs still early days though, so we have to wait and see what newer bios can do.
Yeah might try under cold,but it's not good enough if this Xeon 3540 did 235 on air on the Classie... maybe the limitation is me ?
Luckily the retail price is normal for an enthousiast board, you can get it for around 320 euro's... not the 380-400 euro's we were told at CeBIT
Got my REIII on Friday and will set it up today. Will be replacing my 760 Classified so it will be interesting to see how they compare. My Classified is rock solid so the bar is pretty high for the REIII. I have a full EK waterblock on the 760 and am worried about my MB temps until I am able to get the same for the REIII.

Still waiting on my move also. As all seeing 230 max block and that is 10bclk more then my r2e. Not too bad but wished it was better, but still in lower end bios releases so hopefully it would pick up later on. Sure wished my ek full nb/sb water block would bolt up to it as that would help out some. I will wait to see more results and thanks for the ones that has posted information from their results.
