wow~~! great clock
What did mainboard use?
Ran a couple benches yesterday with the cascade, can only get a few runs out of it then temps drop from -99 to -83 or -84 then I have to shut it down for awhile, crank it up and get 3 or 4 more runs, rinse repeat. I will be getting some LN2 tomorrow...

AMAZING RETAIL GULF! Good job!
I neeed one... Sorry i WANT one :D
good job.
very nice
Nice results! and great chip indeed.
This tuesday Intel will deliver me a new 980XE retial. Will test it on the campus party @ Madrid on water and maybe on LN2
will post the bench results here for LN2 with some luck +6 GHZ stabele :)
blasting speeds road! seems like a nice chip. but your cpu score in 06 is really low.. tried to crank up the uncore yet? iam getting 12500 at about 6GHz, your at almost 6.1Ghz with 10800..? only difference is that iam using 31 vs 33, and uncore 4650 vs 3600 on your chip.
i'm getting nearly 10K on cpu score @ 4750 on water, ~4000uncore,
same for vantage, i got 4400ish cpu score with the same speed as above
i guess uncore is killing his score
Killer volts :) My chip die about 1,85V :(
Mines dead also, didnt last long...
Retail chip...
Really...what do you think killed it
I just LOL when I read that back to myself :p:
Scary, I hope I don't kill mine :-/ I cannot afford another
what was vtt?
Hey guys...I just created a thread, can you please contribute:

is the socket clean? no burn mark?
looks like retail cousins are not much tougher than ES damn
lots of Vantage CPU test will get them falling over big time after some talk with Nick about how much power draw they have at high clocks and volts....eek
bad luck about your CPUs guys :(
