By your own definition, as long as it REALLY is at 4.8GHz, regardless of stability, it is valid as you are validating the CLOCK SPEED and not the STABILITY.

My sincere appologies guys...
I was drinking the other night when I posted those messages.
As Crazy said, I missed the fact that it wasn't showing Valids at normal clocks... :(
I see your point Oj101, although I still find it kind of useless. I can get a Valid around 4.5Ghz on my chip, but it will crash if I breath the wrong way... ;)
Anyway, I'm sure they'll get it fixed before too long.
I haven't had any problems with 1.53 and it appears that Charged hasn't either, but we are running similar gear with C3 chips.
I'm really NOT a jerk, sorry if it seemed that way... Dave
All good my man
Ya, Dave's a good guy. He just wishes his 965 was as "cool" as mine;).
Hey Dave, how is everything?
You guys wouldnt happen to be running 64-bit OS'es and 64-bit CPU-Z would you?...the 32-bit version is the one giving us hiccups.
And Dave, :)...
You cant really get much more stable than 2 Ghz @ 1.52v...

Thats no 4.8 Ghz. :D
i've had a couple of failed valids on 64bit xp here.. 1.53.1 32bit seems to work ok.
WTF, I have to hold a gun to my PC's VGA port to get it to run at 2GHz :ROTF:
I had a invalidated run with 1.53..So i installed 1.52 to validate it and it said 1.53 rejected it so it would validate that either:mad:
1.53 thing regardless..Im using a 550 C2...
It wont valadidate my clocks when ive validated with the same CPU many times before.
4200mhz on a X4core 550 isnt every day on water lol. but i can no longer validate since upgrading to 1.53 and ive tried 1.53.1

i tried 1.53.1 for the first time 2 nights ago and got a 4.5 valid on my c3 w/ cool air, will probably try for 4.6 w/ some cold air one of these nights
